I came to NYC around the same time as Mr. Derian and always admired how he found his niche and gradually and strategically grew his business over time. With so many unique, small mom and pop businesses rapidly disappearing, I am grateful that his stores still exist. It takes a lot to stay in business for 25+ years no matter where you are located. Much continued success to him and his team. And Bunny is beyond adorable!

As much as I love Mr porter. I was a little bit disturbed by the perceived taskmaster attitude of this guy.. that comment to the lady worker... can someone explain it because I have two versions.. 1) she may be undocumented and he was trying to protect her or 2) He was being an arrogant asshole and did not want BROWN WORKERS to be seen on camera and tarnish the pristine image of his ATELIER OF NICE THINGS.
