I'm a man and appreciate you. I think it is so important for men to understand this too! So many young men are brainwashed to think women need to be masculine. They need to understand what femininity is about.

I was in the market today and wore a hoodie from the college I went to and I received a compliment on it. She said “ your hoodie is so cute” I go “thank you It’s over ten years old” she goes “ it doesn’t look it at all” I proceed to show her where I had to hand sew the pocket 😂 she laughs and says “I wouldn’t have known keep that between you and Jesus.” And I thought right about this video and not being able to receive a compliment! I have to work on receiving! Thanks for your vids . ❤

I have to share this with Alexis and all the beautiful ladies here. Recently I’ve realized no matter how much I resist, I was always attracting men who want to give something to me but I was blocking it because I didn’t feel worthy deep inside. I’ve decided that I will be more open and grateful to receive. I was listening to this video on my way to work and stopped by at a local flower shop to pick just one rose to put on my desk. It’s something new I’ve been enjoying giving to myself these days. The local vendor guy gave me a whole bunch of flowers, wrapping it with so much care so they don’t freeze in the cold weather and saying it would look more beautiful on my desk. I thanked him and thought he’s very sweet. And then, suddenly on the bus to work, I started tearing up for no reason. It felt like something in me was released. Thank you Alexis for this video and always showing up being fully you.

I have gotten tearful when I have gotten into my feminine energy too. I think it's because it makes us feel vulnerable and we aren't used to it? Keep up the good work on learning to receive! The men around you will appreciate that.

This has created a massive change in my life!!! I am receiving so much from everyone, it's really like a switch! My husband brought me flowers, I was gifted a wonderful expensive workshop from a coach, I got appointments that usually were unavailable, and wherever I am people just offer me extra services - for example offering sending me all information and data, which is a big change because in the past I had to ask and ask and explain and remind, for years! I truly feel like a magnet for wonderful things ❤❤ Thank you so so much!!!!

Thank you for sharing your knowledge ❤ I would really appreciate if you can do a video talking about forgiveness, how to help yourself to forgive & how to know if you even should. I’m having trouble forgiving my parents (haven’t spoken to my dad in six months, I’ve grown up in a toxic abusive household and had to be in my masculine & dark feminine energy because of that.) I want to know how can I repair my connection with my parents without falling back to these patterns? Thank you 🙏

Alexis, your videos have really helped me reconnect with my feminine energy. Thank you so much for that! However, there’s something I’m struggling with. Until now, I’ve tried to pay at least 30% in my dates or relationships because I felt it was fair, and I often carried a lot of masculine energy.(planning, leading, motherding etc...) Now, I’m trying to lean back, relax, and genuinely appreciate what I receive. With the guy I’m dating, I’ve let him cover all the expenses on our dates so far(3 dates), and we’ve gone to nice places. I express my gratitude, but I still feel a bit uncomfortable. I wonder how long I should just be receiving. If the goal of dating is a serious relationship or marriage, does that mean I just receive until then? What about small gestures like buying coffee or giving gifts and how often-are those considered masculine energy? From south Korea, H 😍

I saw the vid on healing wounded feminine energy if there’s something about me it takes time in developing trust with others just the other day someone gave me a compliment on my hair color & we both kept moving the conversation but I struggled to allow it in my aura because I have been jaded to a certain extend from past experiences & if there’s something else I can take away would be on the last step treating or investing in self before I forget how can I learn not to push love away subconsciously we’re all in this together ❤️🍀🤞🏽

I’m just at the 6:42 mark in this video and I have a question and concern. So I met this guy, and in the beginning of the relationship he gave and gave and gave to me, and I soaked it up, and it was wonderful! Truly. Then I found out that he actually didn’t have the money for these things, and I was upset because I had received them and it was outside his means. I also felt deceived because he put on an appearance that he was financially capable to give to me. He had a big heart, and I like that, but now I don’t want to receive anything because I know he can’t afford it. I know that shuts him down. And that’s not my intentions. I don’t want him to feel like I’m materialistic. So I have a hard time trusting him, and receiving from him. How do I remedy this? 6:42

What would you recommend if a woman is the one giving and the man is the one receiving in the relationship? How would you go about changing/switching that dynamic?
@NidzShah-ps6kr25 күн бұрын
It's very simple - you should leave the man. Most men who are in their feminine energy are usually damaged or unmotivated, they need to fix that in themselves. Most women who are in their masculine energy do so bcz they feel a lack of safety, they think that if they don't do this people will leave them or they'll lose everything they've worked for.

I don't know if this was covered in the Q&A, but I was wondering about when we give to ourselves and tell ourselves we are worthy of receiving compliments, etc, where is the line drawn between self-love and narcissism? I believe others give themselves love in healthy ways like you describe in the video, but personally what stops me from lifting myself up, telling myself I'm worthy, etc feels narcissistic, even if I totally agree with the approach and understand the goal. Would you say feeling entitled to people's love/gifts is where it goes too far, like you said?
@awwlexis2 жыл бұрын
Great question. Self love = love and empathy for yourself while being able to love/emphasize for others. Narcissism = self love without ability to have self love/empathy for others. Receiving with entitlement = narcissism versus receiving with gratitude/genuine appreciation = healthy acceptance
