my biggest problem with this boss is that for some reason somebody decided that if you take too long you're gonna start losing HP continuously for free, and then it became a race against the clock, and if ToA tought me anything, is that fighting against timers sucks out all the fun of this game's combat

Not really a problem, as you start losing your hp, your Atk increases too. Also, your buffs are stacked against to the boss.. so it's just easy

im struggling on sentry more than on Fallacy. jihnshi incarnation gets interruped a lot. cammelya is clunky in her red hair mode. Jiyan sfx makes it so hard to see what's happening. Danjin doesn't have enough damage. i give up

most probably it just the special condition for couple of the last stages, which after some time you and enemies attack increased and you get DoT till 20% hp left.

When a boss has this many moves and hits harder than bosses in souls games they really shouldn't add a timer on top of that, especially so for a boss that flies and moves around a lot.

I felt like fallacy max level was actually hard as it took a couple of tries, meanwhile sentry was really easy with Camellya, spec rover and shorekeeper. (I was testing the new spec rover echo set).

@LostWallet Well my spec rover basically contributed nothing as fallacy has spec resistance. If I had sanhua then it would have been waaaay faster. (But I'm too lazy to redo it after getting the rewards)

15 tries with Jinhsi and Xiangli Yao and ShoreKeepers with shorekeepers and Jinhsi dying leaving only Yao to kill the boss.

this boss force you to chip damage bit by bit since he attack continuously and can't be staggered ffs.

congrats you can't use character that need to build up some combo first before can deal huge damage like Jinhsi,Jiyan,Xiangli Yao,etc, i think camellya match this boss perfectly since you just need to rely on your ult & ephemeral (special resonance skill) and dreamless echo to deal majority of the damage.

@@morbed4181 I thought like this as well but apparently Jinhsi actually negates half the moveset of the boss by hovering. You just have to wait for those moves before introing to Jinhsi. Tried so many times with different teams and in the end beat the boss with first try of my Jinhsi team (Yinlin + Verina).

@@Meryas Good for you, my first try on this boss is using jinhsi-zezhi-verina so maybe im not that adapted yet with his move set that make me always ended up dying before reach even half of it's HP, so i move on and try camellya-sanhua-verina and luckily managed to clear it despite being so close to fail and never bothered to try it again 😂.

Damage sponge instant kills aren't hard, they're cheap. This game has struggled to make hard anything. It's either comically easy, or screen spam nonsense you need to watch over and over to see and slow way the fuck down, counter to what the game wants you to play. On top of that, RNG stats. It's just bad game design. There's a reason these games are never looked at for awards outside of they're own "genre" of credit card swiping.

I think Genshin is pretty ballanced. Is it easier? Yes. However it is fair. The only true obsolete thing is physical damage.
