Warriors not living on the free throw helps them during playoffs where ref allow more physical plays and doesn't call whistle on every foul call. And that's why players that rely on foul call can get lost on rhythm during playoff.

@@yung_dagger_d1469 exactly, like 75% of former players with a podcast and most of them being a guest on a podcast have said: League officials instruct refs to make sure theres a game 5,6 or even 7 for revenue.... the coincidence of some swings is just crazy. Like the 'NEVER BEEN DONE' cavs vs warriors, sure bron and kyrie were amazing, but it was gsw that was taking it EASY untill the tosses and suspensions kicked in. And for those of us that think draymonds toss AND his suspension was warranted... bron commited 2 def fouls a flagrant and a technical on green in the span of 4 seconds... no whistle was blown while the ref was deadass staring at it happening, green got upset and swiped at brons nuts (BUT MISSED) and he gets called for it and even suspended. ---bron pushed green while he was screening for curry, bron pulled green by grabbing his biceps while he was screening for curry, kyrie even pushed green back into bron, bron then threw greens arm up and over his head while brons foot was behind greens foot, green fell on his back real hard, bron stepped over greens head and refs did NOTHING cuz of 3 things ; 1. Warriors 3-1 up, 2. warriors in the lead that game, 3 its lebron james comitting the fouls against green.... but when green reacts to it, its a tech and a suspension-- If refs either called 1 of brons fouls or just not call draymond for reacting to a stepover, its 4-1 series done... NBA loses 2 finals games worth of revenue!

not rlly, cuz if you replace 'warriors' with 'steph' in that sentence, more FT calls would give steph an average 4-5 ppg more, so its not that its a benefit they dont rely on it... its that they would be even more unstoppable if they got the calls! steph simply dont get the calls, nba almost only calls a FT on players trying to GET contact, those that try to go AROUND the defender but still get touched wont get any calls, his layup package always been on par with kyrie, but its never been the acrobatic or the speedy guys getting the calls.

@@86niisan8686 yes that true too. What Im saying is that people who baits foul during regular season. When they get into playoffs they aint performing that good when their go to foul drawing move doesn't work on real battle. Drawing fouls and having young team are similar because they could get you at the top of the standing but it doesn't really translate to the playoff. I think that's why harden doesn't have great playoff performances, it does affect his play and rhythm.
