Kobe’s analysis of Steph and Klay gotta be the most accurate I ever heard. The best explanation of Curry’s greatness, this season so far, is his game winner against Boston when CP spotted him on the wing and the ball barely touched Curry’s hands as the ball was already in motion of a high arc three to go in perfectly and win the game. The shot was so clutch and ridiculous, you had to see it to even believe it was real play.

2016 Steph really changed how I view basketball completely. Being born in an Asian country, Basketball was never the most popular sport here, but I’ve always appreciated the sport because of Michael Jordan cause he was just too big of an icon for you to not know about. But after watching a lanky 6’2 dude who later became an unstoppable force in 2015, i was just completely hooked to the game of basketball and wanted to learn each and every history there is. Then the unanimous MVP season happen, I was just mindblown to how masterful and GOATED Steph was throughout the entire season. Every game was such a joy and that really made me love Steph and basketball. Truly a phenomenon.

When you consider his stats adjusted per 36 mins, since he would sit out a lot of 4th quarter and then consider how stats have become inflated since then due to changes in rules such as the offensive rebound shot lock being shortened to add about 3-4 mins of extra game time, Steph still has the greatest offensive season in NBA history IMO.

No. The argument can go to Wilt Chamberlain, then Jordan in 1988. Then the season James Harden averaged 36. Those players combine offense with defense. And honestly, Lebron was better than Curry in 2016

@15:10 you can thank NBA leaderships greed for that one.... blew a 3-1 lead? nah... bron, kyrie, love and their backup were great, but thats not what caused the final result. Blew a 3-1 lead? go listen to some former and current NBA players on podcasts, former warriors and cavs players, former champions and HOF players from other teams. It has been said over and over: NBA makes refs look for certain things at certain games, certain players at certain games, certain teams during playoffs. The NBA forces refs to HELP teams from a bigger franchise or players with a bigger fanbase or brand to stay in the playoffs in the early rounds. 2016, 3-1 for the warriors, 5 seconds before the whistle on draymond when he swipes at lebron, there are 2 defensive fouls by lebron+kyrie 1 flagrant by lebron and a technical by lebron that just didnt generate a whistle..... WHILE A REF IS IN FULL VIEW OF THE CAMERA'S WATCHING IT HAPPEN LIKE A HAWK. Draymond got teched, tossed and after the final whistle suspended for the next game.... even curry ejection for the mouthpiece the next game.... What did lebron(+kyrie) do in the 5 seconds leading up to draymond recieving the tech (which rlly was tech worthy)? 1 Lebron grabs draymonds arms as draymond sets a screen, pulls him into him and slides past to guard curry 2 kyrie then pushes draymond back into lebron, they collide 3 Lebron then hooks draymonds extended arm and flings it up over draymonds shoulder (lebron foot is behind draymond leg by coincidence) and draymond falls on his back rlly hard! 4 Lebron steps over draymonds torso while draymond tries to get up and they make contact. (thats why draymond swipes at him...) 0 whistles by the refs untill draymond swipes AND MISSES, with atleast 2 refs looking at it and the play/ball was less than 6 ft from these events as they unfolded. The reason why refs didnt whistle lebron is clear as day: REVENUE... drag out a longer series. At this point warriors had the series 3-1, warriors had the game.. they were up by 10 and had posession.. they had the best regular season ever in NBA history and the only ever unanimous MVP. This game was over... this series was over... never had a team in the finals come back from 3-1... well, the LEAGUE made the REFS ensure a 3-1 comeback was now possible. And i got nothing against Lebron... hes fenominal, but the NBA is so corrupted, it fixes games for revenue End of rant

False. There is offense and defense. Many players have been elite offensively and defensively in the same season - Wilt, Jordan, Kobe, LeBron, Kahwi, Hakeem, and Giannis. They have all had better overall seasons because they were elite two-way players. If we are only talking offense, then he might have had the best offensive season in NBA history. He certainly had the best shooting season in NBA history.

He had one of te best defensive rating as a PG that season and lead the league in steal. He was not a DPOY. But he was ok on defense.

Lead the league in scoring. Top 5 in 3p% lead the league in % finishing inside. While shooting 90% from the FT line. All of that while being on the lost for the most improve player while being a back to back MVP. He was too good that season.

No they don’t have “better overall seasons” Bc not a single one of them have ever won mvp unanimous or led their team to 73 wins

Um, the greatest to ever play to me is 1A Micheal Jordan, then 1B is Kobe Bryant! Then whoever. Lebron should be compared to Magic and Steph should be compared to an Allen Iverson! Nuff said! MIC DROP!

No it doesn’t. You just ONLY look at that to have on curry and boost lebrons legacy. They were literally down 3-1, you suck if you’re losing like that in the first place. Secondly, that’s lebrons ONLY WIN against Curry in all their years in the finals😂. You BARELY WON a single series in a 5+ year rivalry 😂😂😂😂😂😂.
@IamNotTrey

also less impressive because the warriors overcame a 3-1 lead too, before lebron did. Hang on to that one series win, I got 3 chips on you 😂.

Sorry. In 2016, Lebron was clearly better than Curry. NBA isnt just about scoring. Defensive, playmaking, rebounding, etc. Warriors might of actually won in 2016 if Curry was capable of defense. But Lebron was overall better than Curry in 2016, 2017, and 2018
@IamNotTrey

No he wasn’t, you just don’t know basketball. Curry is a steals champion which he won in 2016. You’re just a salty Cavs fan who lost 3 times to the warriors😂. Lebron wasn’t better he lost all of those years, lost 2015, down 3-1 2016 he basically lost that, 2017 L, SWEPT 🧹 2018. Better THAN WHO😂?
