Steph birthed her baby girl Sage at 38 weeks stillborn via a planned c section.
After a wild time during her pregnancy with costochondritis (severe cough) inflammation to the ribs (from coughing), covid & DVT (all of which went after the birth), Steph tells her story of hope after loss and how it changed her mind and life.
Steph has a living daughter Scarlett & 3 stepdaughters with her partner Luke.
Full autopsy for little Sage is still pending results. They know she had a critically small placenta and no amniotic fluid.

Thank you for listening to Little Life Big Loss. If you are here because you have experienced baby loss recently or a long time ago, I am so sorry. I know this pain will NEVER go away. My heart breaks with you. This is a pain no one ever expects to endure. Or maybe you are listening as you have just found out your baby is unwell in utero, and now you have some REALLY hard hitting decisions to make, I am, again, so sorry. These are decisions no parent should ever have to make. I hope these podcasts can lighten the load just a little bit in ways to help understand what the road ahead might look like and what your options are. Remember you ALWAYS have options. It is YOUR body and YOUR baby!
If you have never experienced the loss of a baby but are here to learn, thank you. We want to be heard and listened to. You will help someone, somewhere with the knowledge taken from these podcasts.
