I am so glad you liked Belgrade and that you will come back! Thank you, very nice video and the way you described the food, and of course the facial expressions you made were priceless.

Have nothing against Ksenia, I even watch her often on Instagram. She has very good stories about Belgrade on Instagram. But, the thing is, Ksenia is russian from Moscow, moved to Belgrade a year or two. I mean, you should've find someone local, Serb from Belgrade.

By degrading others, you will not raise yours, but you will only show egocentrism, although as a Greek and our spiritual brothers, that is what it is. Serbia is actually very famous for its good food, despite its small size among the twenty in the world.

Many do not know about the role of ratluk with coffee. If you like extra bitter coffee, eat ratluk before coffee. Oversaturate the sweet receptors and then the coffee tastes extra bitter. If you like sweet coffee, then you save the ratluk after you drink the coffee, so you can make it even sweeter.

Michelin sels stars, not food! When you go in kafana (restaurant in Serbia) it is not all about food, it is not like on the west, go in, eat, go out... So the food is always acceptable good, at least, but hanging out with your frends or family is the main thing.

Sarma, when its served domestic, in the homes of the people, its never served with mashed potatoes. Its always served solely. Some put on top of it some "pavlaka"( similar to greek yoghurt). Only in restaurants they serve it with potatoes.

I have been in Serbia twice regarding the food. I didn't see anything special about it. Most Serbian food is the same wherever you go street pastry is very dry and all grill food very grease lots of fet, if you looking for heart attack your are on right place, and some skinless sausage called chevcike or so everything tastes same, and who wants to have a pound of sausage for dinner....
