Stephanie and Ridge had set up Nick to take fall by withholding truth of what have actually happened in protecting Ridge from facing legal consquences himself. By withholding Ridge's part of what happened they were willingly in framing Nick for what had went down and for what Ridge had illegally done himself by covering up death scene , they did 💯 set Nick up to take fall for Ridge by their direct silence of knowing the truth and not coming forward to set Nick who is 💯 innocent man free by admitting the truth to law enforcement no matter how you look at Stephanie and Ridge's own actions allowing Nick take criminal fall for he is innocent of doing with no iffs nor buts about it! Stephanie and Ridge had most definitely guilty of framing Nick to take criminal serious fall by staying silence when Nick is innocent man of crime committed by withholding truth from law enforcement and leaving Nick in jail for something that he did not do. That is very definition of setting up and framing innocent person (Nick) to take fall for someone else's (Ridge and Stephanie) wrongful criminally after fact death actions against Nick to just protect Ridge from law enforcement and criminal charges.
