GOD this scene is everything! Susan Flannery is possibly the best actress to ever have graced daytime TV and she imbues Stephanie with pathos, boldness, and humor -- as shown all in this one scene. Just look how she switches gracefully from that terrifying closeup leering over Brooke ("I'll cut you into little pieces!") to that jaunty twirl out the door ("The patient's upset, she needs a sedative. You think about what I said cuz I'll do it!"). Ha! What an actress!

Though I am not a fan of this kind of gloating from Stephanie, I am a proud rooter of/for Stephanie. The Logans, from Beth on down, have always been after the Forrester lifestyle and company. Always longing for something they believe should've been theirs. And they preyed on the weakest Forrester of them all, Eric! Brooke AND Donna, not to mention Sheila Carter, ALL married Eric to get one over on Stephanie and then tried to say that they "loved him" or that they were "in love with him". And Eric claims that Stephanie was such a terrible person/wife but after every failed marriage he had, he ALWAYS ran back to her. If I were Stephanie I would've never took him back, ever! Brooke is a hoe! Always have been and always will be! Sleeping with Eric, Ridge, Thorne, Nick, and Deacon!! And her only defense is "love". I'm sorry but I LOVE to see Stephanie win against Brooke!! But Ridge's marriage to Taylor did not fall apart. Ridge did not leave Taylor to be with Brooke, even after Sheila Carter falsified the paternity test to make it look as if Ridge was the father and even after Brooke did everything she could to tempt him. Brooke only got Ridge when Taylor was thought to have died in a plane crash. When Taylor returned Ridge ultimately stayed with Brooke but later Ridge admitted to Taylor that he had only stayed with Brooke for the sake of the children.

Susan Flannery was truly a rare talent. It’s unfortunate she did not continue on Dallas. Good writing and the skillful development and evolution of the fictional Leslie Stewart could’ve become the “Dallas” response to Dynasty’s Alexis, Knots Landing’s Abby, and Falcon Crest’s Angela, as examples. No question she would’ve easily given such characters more than a run for their money. Her performance in this scene is proof. She may have even contributed to the reversal in the decline of Dallas ratings.

Complete rewrite and seeing as DNA cannot change if Bridget had Stephanie's DNA, Ridge is the father. If Bridget's DNA was so close to Ridge/Eric's, the two males must be blood related. Bell's rewrites cannot void science.
