my bf (who's hobby is carpentry) just popped his head through from the kitchen when you were talking about the strippers pole in the kitchen and said- ''aah maybe it was the only room in the house with an exposed ceiling beam to drill into and a wooden floor to drill into? maybe the rest had concrete floors or carpeting?'' lol he could probably solve a crime through a persons DIY choices alone i;m sure of it.

You’re my absolute favourite true crime narrator of all time, I listen to you literally everyday and before bed 🖤 I love your little “accent” too, I also say certain words a bit off (like, “stAAHp” as stop/“mAAHm”, as mom). That area seems very very isolated! I'm curious how she found drugs in a setting like that. Only so many people in town I'd imagine... I guess she was very direct & got lucky. Just walk up to the few houses in the area cross fingers, just say excuse me, I'm your new neighbor, I was wondering if you sell drugs by any chance? Apparently. She must have some severe mental illness going on. The only way I can imagine an unruly but passionate daughter straight up murderer her father... diagnosis: X Psychotic disorders unspecified. I know a lot of people like the unanswered mysteries, and I do too, sometimes, but I also like the Solved ones like this one. Solved crimes should give us insight into Why it happened and the perpetrators actions and demeanor before committing the crime gives us clues to look out for, within our own life bubble's circumference, that could help prevent or solve a crime. It keeps us vigilant and also helps us protect our children.

Boomer and Christian are not synonymous with one another, however Gen Z always like attach that to them. As a Christian we don’t claim the boomers 😂

Childhood mental illness is so often treated as if it is simple misbehavior rather than a disease (by making rules more strict for example). If you want to help your children treat them as if they are dealing with a strange and crazy and often intense headspace just as you are

@@lauda6945 Unfortunately anti-social mental disorder (popularly known as psychopathy) is not even considered as illness, it is not treatable and those people are not able to be "rehabilitated". It is not something that just goes away. Prefrontal cortex of those individuals is just for some reason different than the average person's, it cannot be restored and therefore they will never experience empathy or remorse. You can see that even in small children and it is dreading thought to have such a child and literally not to be able to do anything.

@@mashafilipovic9195 so while it is correct that it isnt something that just goes away and it is related to the structure and chemical makeup of the brain itself it is not true to say that it is not an illness and that it is not treatable because it is both. Antisocial personality disorder is in the DSM and psychopathy is a subset if that overarching diagnostic. Ive worked as a therapist for someone with psychopathy and changes werr able to be made to assist with issues related to common social issues. Furthermore my partner is a recovered psychopath. Is it gone? No. Would he ever harm an innocent person? Never. I feel it has to do with people still believing that being mentally ill isn't a real thing or big deal. The whole "just hang in there" attitude people have about getting through a hard time also seems to be a big example of this type of belief that mental illness isn't something that could end fatally especially in cases of depression or schizophrenia. Heck, even untreated anxiety disorders can lead to the development of other neuropsychiatric disorders.

Oh this poor girl. I understand where the father was coming from, but I think a chance of being teased is worth getting help. If a child couldn’t see on there own and needed glasses, almost every parent would get them glasses. There’s no shame in that. You can’t see on your own, you need glasses to help you out, so you get glasses. Even if the child gets teased, you’re not going to deny them glasses. Why is it so hard and stigmatized to get children help for mental disorders when they so clearly need it? I really wish that I would’ve gotten help sooner. I left it untreated for so long that it became a disorder. If you have a chance to prevent that or possibly lessen that, I urge you to take it. There’s no shame in asking for help and getting help.

Probably not for his daughter to murder him? I struggle with bipolar disorder and anger issues and exactly like Michael, my father was hesitant for me to be medicated. He wasn’t raised with the acceptance of mental health as a true physiological illness. My dad loves me and his fear of medicating me wasn’t out of ill intention. Even with bipolar disorder etc I would never murder my own father. Ever.

Multiple personality disorder, or Dissociative identity disorder - DID(as it's called now) is an extreme manifestation of PTSD an in almost all cases stems from extreme and continous childhood abuse. Considering that, and the fact that the father took the first chance he got to get this girl away from her mother and sister and take her to the middle of nowhere, I do question what was going on there. Google DID, it doesn't happen just because, it has very particular causes. If she did have, she must have been abused at a very young age and troughout her childhood.

My ex-husband refused to let me give my son medication for ADHD. Called it "throwing meds at him instead of dealing with him". Guess what? Now that he's on meds he's doing so much better at school. And he doesn't even take them any other time. It's amazing what happens when you actually look into options, talk to your kid, and try things out. It also helps that I spend actual time with my son, and not one or two days every couple of months. And I make time for doctor and counseling appointments. Holy hell people, talk to your kids.

how was he tested for his adhd? doctors do diagnose it too quickly, and him getting better grades can be in-spite of instead of caused by the meds. I have add, and I was an a and b student, I never acted out. It took a second grade teacher seeing my penmanship and slowish-ness to consider it. My mom took me to the 10 page test, a neurological exam, and a c a t scan which all came back with adnormal brain function. Also was diagnosed with having autism as an adult (28) and again recently. a lot of parents and dr do throw meds at their kids to pacify them then actually deal with the problem.

@@azadalamiq add is different from adhd though. It has the added fact of hyperactivity, you may not have acted out because you had add not adhd. A lot of children with adhd "act out" because they are hyperactive, it's not really acting out just hyper but people don't know how to deal with it. But medication isn't a bad way to go, it's not 'not dealing with the root of the problem', it's a solution and one that works.

@@damienthonk1506 - a feminist, as if that were a dirty word... Would you give us your perspective on what constitutes 'indoctrination"? Did you ever consider that the societal norms we are all born into, are in fact, a form of indoctrination? Did you ever consider that your views on feminism and the apparent, negative ways in which you perceive them, are a form of brainwashing? Do you even know what feminism really is? I'm not talking about extreme feminism. That's ridiculous and any type of extremism is not a good thing, imv. Honestly, I'm not being a smart ass and not attempting to be clever. Just very curious. In my view, feminism means equal pay for equal work. Allowing people to be who they are and that means, all people. Feminism is about intellectual honesty and striving to make the world a better place for future generations by encouraging each other to dig deeper, and each take responsibility for the world we live in, however small a part we each play. If a boy wants to wear nail polish or makeup or whatever, so what. Anything can be normalized, but what I would love to see normalized? It would be amazing for people to live and let live. But nobody would know that because it's not public record for one, and because noone was there to witness it except the people who WERE involved. I have really enjoyed watching your channel when I get home and relax. If I have to drive a good distance to one of the mills we work in I listen to you in the car on the way instead of radio now. I wanted you to know that you do a wonderful job and look forward to many more videos.

Give hate comments NO airtime. There is enough meanness in the world. I love your channel, the detail you put into your work and that you have an opinion that you aren’t afraid to express. Keep up the great work!

I just don't understand people... Just seeing you and knowing you made it through another day in this crazy Era in time itself deserves a like. People suck always have, always will (its gotten worse since social media) and I appreciate the fact that people like you are actually out in the world! Enough rambling...love the videos, and always.... Stay you, Stay true, Stay gorgeous!

I only found you about three months ago and I have watched so many of your videos. I find them oddly soothing as I work at my sewing machine lol I am in the UK and I have a strong Yorkshire accent. I have no problem with yours and was surprised some people did. Guess trolls like to pick on anything to try to bring someone successful down. Well done on your response and how you handle the negativity. It shows what an amazing person you are ❤️
