I am an author and KZbinr out here in Northern California who could use some beautiful scenes of mountains, lakes, beaches, and rivers while writing and creating. And right now, in my life, I just turned 60 and could use some mini weekend sabbaticals. Gonna start off small and see where I decide to go from there. Again, thanks, sis.

I can confirm all these things Stephanie says are true. I can honestly say if you follow her lead you will be successful in housesitting. My first sit was international for 12 days, then local in my home state for a week and now I am headed to the Colorado Rockies for 5 days. Actually you may be a little TOO successful and then you have to explain to your significant other why you are traveling so much. :) And just another note, the comment about high season based on the location makes so much sense why so many Dubai sits are popping up almost daily right now.

Nice video content. I am personally a professional sitter / real estate agent, I get paid about $200-$300 a night for sitting and have all of Fairfield County, Connecticut locked up. I just work my real estate from their houses, and it's the best well-oiled machine and best decision I've ever made. I wasn't truly a fan of trusted house sitters because it was free service and someone had to pay into it and that is fine, it's just not for me. My insurance policy is only $467 a month for $8 million policy coverage and this is a business that I'm truly proud of and it gets me a lot of listings.

Hi Stephanie, great Vid! I’ve done house sitting and volunteer holiday exchanges around the World off and on for a few years and have really enjoyed it. Recently I read that some house sitting websites suggest developing a friendship with the hosts for international sits, that way you can visit as a tourist visiting friends etc…because apparently some people have hard a hard time at airport arrivals for international sits when they’ve said they’re there to house sit or do a volunteer holiday exchange, as some countries still class these stays as work, which would need a vis etc… Whats your take on this? Also Does TrustedHousesitters have any guidelines for this?

It's still in the state I live in BUT its still a nice 4 night get away abt an hour from me! Her home is FABULOUS!!!! She has several diff pets! So this sit is very interesting and over all generally EASY! My friend signed up so I have 2 more months free of housesitting! I signed up in March! I had my family & friends leave me reviews! I can't wait until my friend who I am sitting for now leaves me a review!😊 I'm SURE it will boost my chances of getting more house sits! I have applied for 7 house sits and officially got accepted by 2 but one canceled the day before. So you deff get denied. But I just keep applying, no matter if many have alrdy applied or not. 🥰 I was able to bring my son along with me! I plan on taking him with me to every house sit! We JUST received our passports and we are looking forward to traveling to other countries soon! I just have to make sure we can pay for our tickets out of the country!!! We are EXSTREMLY excited abt that!🙌🏾 😁👍🏾 I would like to say Thank you to Stephanie Perry for her help! I am taking my break from work for the improvement of my mental health to persue my dreams to travel with my teen son & to develop our own business for bonus income! This is an very special time guys. Ask God for His Wisdom & Discernment on this matter & you CANT GO WRONG!!! ❤❤❤GOD BLESS! ❤❤ P.S! Stephanie I need business cards as well! There are plenty of house sitters in my state who earn $75- $90 every night. Not sure why you are encouraging people to do it for free. Your entire platform is confusing and perhaps meant to be.
@StephaniePerry3 жыл бұрын
I encourage people to do a local house sit for free to get the 5 star review so that they can then house sit internationally. I tell new house sitters to start with Trusted Housesitters and do unpaid sits because you get access to reviews from their previous sitters + background checks + insurance in the event you cause damage to the home or pet + access to their thousands of clients worldwide. These reasons are also why I continue house sit through them. Let people know when you'll be teaching marketing and advertising / getting insurance for house sitters, if you don't want people to use an international service.
