I used to work at an amusement park in the summers in college and we got to use all the rides and enjoy deeply subsidized apartments all summer long! We also had buses picking us up from the apartment to work everyday. This was in Ohio. Aspen sounds so much nicer😀

Wow, I never would’ve guessed amusement parks took such good care of their employees! 🎡

Stephanie Perry it was definitely okay for a college student.

I had the same experience in Ohio as well, Gee. Were you at Cedar Point or Geauga Lake?

Excellent info! Thank you Chelle and Stephanie! More options for how to make money during "early retirement". I appeciate that Chelle threw in that this seasonal work is not just for the "young " folks. My future husband and I are both young and heart and alot of fun. I've done hospitality work when I was younger and loved it. I've been tied to a corporate desk for far too long. I want my retirement work to be something where I clock out and I'm done. And, I do not want to look at a computer all day. Perhaps this seasonal work, and house sittin,g is a great way to see the country, stay active, make money and get ourelves ready to be full time expats! Fingers crossed! 😊

Brilliant, ladies. Well done! I earned free lifetime travel via working years for a major airline. I've been following Stephanie and will definitely be in touch regarding future opps & how I can combine my freebie with seasonal and/or housesitting work....So proud of both of you Queens! And I appreciate the added insight for those of us who are 60's babies. Bravo!!! Bravo!!! Bravo!!

She’s wonderful! 💗 Chelle was working on Martha’s Vineyard earlier, and now she’s back home with family. I’m in Delaware now, but I had a couple of nice house sits in New Orleans last month.

Can you move from one seasonal work to another? Have you ever met any single parent who does this with their kids with them? Do I need a specific qualification for this job?
