I really love that makeup look! It’s *SO NICE* to see a makeup influencer use different eyeshadow colors other than the typical tan in the crease, rosey mauve on the outer edge, and pink/champagne shimmer on the lid. I’m soooo sick of that look. 😳🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m so tired of the typical neutral makeup looks. I’m absolutely lovin what you did!! I hope other influencers take note. I bought the bourjois foundation last week, was happy to see it back. I think they've altered the shades a touch, rose ivorie was always fine for me but now its more yellow toned than i remember. Still a beautiful foundation though, maybe one day they'll release more shades or bring the serum one back

I thought it was only their Kind and Free range that was cruelty free. They haven't been verified by an animal rights organisation like PETA though, yet, and I think they still sell in China, so, be careful.

Quite a few brands were added end of last year including Physicians Formula, Dove, Simple, Wet n Wild etc. But I am still very careful about what I buy, always 😊

When you try to quit unhealthy food it can sometimes show on your skin and body bc it's basically going through withdrawal from a few different things (sugar, artificial sweeteners and caffeine being the big three). It usually goes away with time when your body and brain chemistry has calmed down and become more stable. You're basically trying to kick an addiction (or multiple) cold turkey so side effects of that are common.

Steph! Just so you know Bourjois has cwased been sold in virtually ALL drug stores in the UK. How I knowcthis? I happened to be visiting my local drug store (Boots) when the Bourjois rep was on the shop floor and he was explaining to the store manager (something which should have taken place in the manager's office not on the shop floor) the Bourjois was withdrawing from the UK completelly! Any Bourjois stock that any drug store had could be still sold but never replaced. Once sold it would be gone. This took place overz18 months ago now! I was shocked because I was in Boots to buy more foundation! I left too upset to buy anything. The implication being any Biyrjois stock you bought from Superdrug could already be expired? Think on that please! No malice intended I assure you.

I have a video idea and I think you'd be the perfect person to try it. I have no idea what you would call this but basically a full face using products' unintended purposes. E.G. when you use an eyebrow pencil as lip liner, lipstick as blush, concealer on the lips. Like showing the multi-uses makeup can have. But you'd have to do foundation using something else too (like an eyeshadow) 😅

Bourjois foundation was the only one I ever used because I found every other complexion product caused a weird reaction with my skin no matter the brand, how I applied it or the formulation (it caused essentially like caking spots but would then leave my skin incredibly dry for days after). When they were discontinued in the UK I just never wore foundation and focussed on skincare instead. I believe they've been back for a few months but were only available to purchase on the Superdrug website/app (my card got blocked on the app so I was never able to buy it). I'm looking forward to purchasing in-store when it's available in m area and hopefully, it works for my skin again.

Skin+Me is better. I started using Dermatica when Steph first advertised it, but I always ended up using too much in one time and I would always run out, and then have to wait about a week for my new product to arrive. But, then she started to advertise Skin+Me, and I love it because it dispenses the exact amount of product that you need, so I'm not running out super fast.
