The detail of the knee is gold, new school is not only about fancy stuff.

I'll remember that knee tip. I think I probably do it but I never teach it and I love to work on escapes with the new guys.

So I’m assuming if you’re blocking the bicep from side control at 1:18, you’re also blocking the 100 kilo as well?

Trapping the tricep by close by the elbow by the funny nerve is what works for me IDK if that's legal in a match. I don't train for competition. I tend to get jobs that keep me from such fun events.

Amazing instructional, thank you for all your content it has helped me tremendously. I have a hard time bringing my knee into the space. I feel like my partners' pressure is closing the space faster than I can get my knee inside. How can I keep the space long enough to insert my knee?

Make sure you're on your side not you back. If you're on your side, there really ins't a way for him to close that distance
