Absolutely real message! I literally have friends tell me that my standards are too high because I won’t give a chance to someone I’m not physically attracted to. I could care less because I know from experience when you “give him a chance” when you’re not physically attracted it will eventually fall apart. I’m currently in a dating relationship with a man who is sweet to me, he brings me flowers, takes me out on date However, we have such drastic different lifestyles, he doesn’t prioritize fitness like I do, I’m pretty clean and tidy and he isn’t, he eats extremely hearty and high calorie and I eat clean and have a lean lifestyle. Breath of relief just got out of a nine month relationship recently, where we almost got married, thank God he pulled the plug as a broken relationship is better than a broken marriage, all the point stated here described the whole relationship. I want to say that anyone can change, because I did, without going in to background I was completely different from my wife and not taught by my dad on how to be a good husband or expectations. After 10 yrs of being a poor husband, I started to step up but by then, she had already checked out. She cheated on me for a year at year 15, I stuck it out for another 7 hoping her heart would turn back to me but because she can’t manage her soul/heart she couldn’t steer it back to me. We are getting a divorce now. I became the guy she wanted/needed, and now she doesn’t want me. I’m focused on moving forward this year. God bless…

I can’t get over how ACCURATE you are! Wow…. Like nail on the head! I was with someone that I wasn’t really attracted to for almost 10 years 🫣 I tried to convince myself that I was since he was a good man, but over time the intimacy really suffered and it took a toll on both of us. He knew deep down I wasn’t really attracted and I envied couples that were truly compatible. We were really unhappy and the relationship became toxic/abusive. Long story short, don’t force it! It just doesn’t work.

Coming to the realization that some people come into our lives or vice versa for a season and a reason. It becomes problematic when we overstay what was intended. Often times we're too close to see when it's time to walk away. Plus our hearts and minds are not in alignment. We cloud our judgement with all the investments and so much uncertainty for what's to come. The whole time hurting inside because even with this person in our life, we're still lonely emotionally and sometimes physically. But to be honest, even when walking away is what's best, it's hard because you have to mourn the loss (if not for the person) for the relationship. No one wants to sign-up for grief.

I am finally breaking the cycle..met a man twice and I knew he started playing me..I called him out on his BS and walked away..still sending my last voicenote in a calming feminine manner wishing him well and he made it easy for me to walk away. Conclusion: be open and honest because if I didn't close the chapter early on. I think this man was going to really hurt me. He hasn't responded to my feelings I need a man not a grown boy but he did teach me to finally stand up for myself because they will play us for months. Another great video Stephan. I would add one more thing to your list of 7 and that is food choices or even appreciation of food. If one person is a foodie and the other couldn't care less if he ate cereal for dinner every evening, the one who cooks will feel unappreciated and the other will feel like there is always a lot of hoopla and time lost for nothing. After a while, this really gets on one's nerves.

Excellent video Stephan. 🙌 I agree with 99% of it and one of the biggest lessons I have learned about myself when it comes to relationships along my healing path is that the unhealed version of me showed up in relationships much differently then the healed version will. People say opposites attract and for the unhealed version of me that unfortunately was very true. After listening to this video I married the most incompatible and polar opposite person in the world to me. With the lessons I have learned from the past; however, the healed version of me thankfully has completely different standards, wants and needs that I would never compromise again. As I always like to say why try to fit a square peg into a round hole that it was never made to fit into in the first place. Life is so short and there are so many unhappy people in relationships trying to make something work that just doesn't anymore or never really did. I believe that once we begin to truly love ourselves and recognize that we deserve to be happy that we can let go of what was and move forward towards what is. Everyone is not for everyone and people change. By staying with someone that isn't compatible with you essentially you are denying the both of you the opportunity to find someone who is and that's not healthy for anyone.💛

So much wisdom in this video. One thing that people often say when trying to convince you that looks and physical attraction don't matter is that the intense physical attraction that you can feel in the beginning fades anyway, so you shouldn't take it into account when choosing someone. But the thing is, in my observation anyway, is that while it does fade, it also comes back at times, at least in happy partnerships. I have had several elderly people in happy marriages tell me that, to them, their partner was still beautiful/handsome 30, 40, 50 years on.....

It's been moments of good times within a whole lot of misery and unhappiness. I didn't listen to my intuition because I was lonely. Long story short.. I no longer trust myself. Arguing is draining in every way! I don’t need my spirit drained from arguing with anyone or seeing others argue! I’ve always been the one who uplifts and encourages others even strangers in passing! Reminds me when THE LORD had me break up a fight between an aunt and niece this year! The Aunt thanked me after! I’ve always had a heart of compassion no matter what I’ve experienced! I didn’t let the abuse make me bitter! I had to heal from blaming and being hard on myself!🔥

What's crazy for me is I prayed to God for a specific type of man and then boom here my man came checking off all of those boxes! He had all of the qualities I wanted! BUT at the beginning there was always conflict and we both truly questioned if we were compatible so that had me confused. We broke up for a wk and since that separation things have gotten so much better and we both have grown in the areas that were issues. Things don't seem so toxic and stressful. Our biggest issue is that he plans to eventually get rid of his social security number and as of right now I can't see myself getting on board with that. So idk where we are going to end up. Right now just enjoying the moments I guess. Thank you for vids like these!

I really enjoyed this video, it was so on point! If you are incompatible sexually, it will be a problem that comes up again and again. Also, physical attraction does matter when it comes to longevity, despite what some people say about it not being important in a relationship. It does hold some weight in keeping a relationship. You should be attracted to the person and have a desire for intimacy or else it will fall apart!
