Coming from a 32 year old, I use to feel the same way when I was your age but asking lots of questions and being thorough shows your professionalism. I hate to use the phrase “fake it till you make it” but practicing social encounters will definitely build that skill even out of a professional setting. Like having a conversation with a stranger on the elevator or asking the person making your coffee how their day is going or if they have plans this weekend.

My baby brother came in my room just as you were saying "down to my bones" and he goes "bones" in the cutest voice lol, he's never said or probably even heard that word so that was funny.
