Curry is so underrated because he's the most unselfish superstar in NBA history. The 3-point line was introduced in Magic’s rookie year in ‘79. Of course coaches back in those days didn’t want them to shoot outside because they thought it was a bad shot. What people have forgotten is Magic started taking 3’s seriously during the last 3 seasons before his first retirement. He averaged 34.3 % from the arc in that span which is the same as LeBron. Obviously, Curry is a much better shooter but Magic was more complete and he provides a major size disadvantage for any point guard. If SAS picks Curry because of his range, might as well pick Bird over LeBron for the same logic. PS. I love AI, but his starting five is pretty dumb. He doesn’t need Kobe if he has MJ.
