I disagree with Stephens last point. Hypothetically if Conor did fight Floyd in the octagon under strictly mma rules he wouldn't necessarily go for the knock out the way he usually would, that'd only play to Floyds strengths, especially if he tried outstriking him with hands only. More than likely he would try to keep him at a distance with leg kicks, teep kicks, head kicks, etc while picking out punches. If he did get close shoot a double or single leg, or lock him up with a clinch leading to take downs for g&p or knees & elbows. Conor knows Floyds weaknesses when it comes to mma & he would definitely try exploit them. Have to imagine his wrestling would feel legit if you dont have any wrestling at all, like somone experienced was passing your gard if you have zero jujitsu, like Pedro Rizzo was kicking your legs if you've never got a leg kick! You'd have no comparison to make. I think Conor would paint a far more detailed picture for Floyd in mma, details he would probably miss. Make no mistake though, if Floyd chose mma as a career path as a youngster he'd probably be up there with the best of em. His work ethic, ability to master techiques, & mentality when it comes to fighting is second to none, not to mention his ability to self promote.. plus he's a master at decoding a persons style & tendencies, very high fight I.Q.
