Huh? If the players were told this is a documentary about the team, but it really is the MJ basketball story, I understand how they feel mislead. Also, they took some of their interviews and showed Jordan the footage and allowed him to respond without giving them a chance to do the same. If Stephen A told a player he's doing a 1-on-1 sit down and then 10 other players show up, I guess he wouldn't understand why the player is mad lol.

Snitches name names, Jordan didn't. Horace Grant named everybody and Sam Smith protected his source. There's a reason Grant wasn't on the team after 1993. MJ was retired but Horace still jumped ship to join Shaq and Penny in ORL then joined Shaq and Kobe in LA in 2000. Grant was a sellout from jump. He wanted credit but didn't want the spotlight when MJ left, so he jumped to the team with 2 rising stars. Tailcoat riding as usual.

@ifuaintfirsturlast7910 4 жыл бұрын
you scooper That is exactly what I just said and now you are repeating it ? What do you define by success in a players first 3 years l? Jordan played less than 10 games his second year . His 3rd full season he won MVP , DPOY, and the scoring title while being the only guard to still ever do that. It was clear who Jordan was at this point . Pippen was a rookie that year averaging 7.9 points and almost 4 rebounds . Show me another player in the past 30 years that has put up comparable stats within their first 3 years . Once again , Jordan won DPOY his third full season and had identical defensive stats his second full season . This is while he was leading the league in scoring for both of those years . Your argument is moot .

There are a lot of old documentaries about the Bulls two threepeats, a couple that used get played a lot on repeat when I was younger. They didn't cover MJ much and he didn't talk much, because after MJ's father died, he kept the press at a distance, and since then hasn't been very accessible to the press. The reason why the Last Dance is so good, is because you get so much access to MJ. Most of the other guys, outside of say Phil are fairly easy to access.

There were a lot of things that didnt get mentioned. In game 5 that clinched their first championship against the Lakers, Pippen had 32 pts 13 rbs 7 assts and 5 steals all the while shutting down Magic Johnson, and all they did was give him credit for his D on Magic and talk about 'the Shot'. Pip was the reason they won the clincher more than Jordan. Plus other guys like Craig Hodges who hit big 3 pt shots, didnt get mentioned at all. At least Kukoc had a piece on him, Horace Grant was a side note, when they never would have won the first 3 w/o him.
@johnnypolo1993
@johnnypolo1993 4 жыл бұрын
TollFree999 Yep. They also didn’t show Pip leading the team back from down 15 with MJ on the bench in game 6 of the 1992 finals. Nor did they show him winning all-star MVP in ‘94, or his awesome dunk on Charles Smith in ‘95.
