BOOK should definitely be in the top three this year. An he should have been in the conversation a few other years? Because no matter how bad the suns where in the past. HE always did his numbers, an the crazy part is that in the past years everybody knows. If you stopped BOOK the suns had no chance of winning in the past. But guess what? They rarely ever could.. An that says a lot about how good d. Book really is. He really is MAMBA J.R as kobe put it. An the scary part is, HE'S STILL GETTING BETTER. An another thing, this dude is ONLY (24)! An how bout the world showing us how real synchronicity is. It just so happens that on kobe's number the suns are playing the best basketball they ever have!🌡

@MushiePuppet173 жыл бұрын
Seriously, and Max didn't say the one thing that imo would actually back up his argument... that Curry usually sat 4th quarters back then because they were blowing everyone out, so one could argue that those numbers he was putting up between 2014-2016 wasn't actually him giving his all. That said I think with his age, lack of shooting support, increased double-teams, etc. what Steph is doing right now is slightly more impressive.

Yeah I agree. This past month has probably been the best stretch of games of Curry's career and the best month but in 2016 he was more consistent through the entire season. Of course a lot of that has to do with how inconsistent his team has been and how poorly they shoot allowing teams to throw everything at Curry and ignore the others. Part of the spike lately is actually the injuries to young players that make poor decisions and try to get there own instead of playing through Steph allowing more unselfish players and more shooting on the court. But in 2016 Steph was decimating the league and sitting out so many 4th quarters. He would have had a quite a few more 40 and 50 point games if his work wasn't finished by the 3rd.
@mrkickinthesky3 жыл бұрын
@@bqproductions7448 i must disagree , 2016 he was more consistent but thats also thanks to klay thompson,draymond being effective on offense and the bench with experience,i consider this steph superior cause the degree of difficulty is way higher,he is literally double teamed most of the times and still gives you 30+,also the league is planning for him and they cant stop him,2016 he got the suprise factor,also he is more experienced and clutch,take the warriors looses away when he doesnt play,take away those 40/50 point games he lost cause some teammates cant hit layups,free throws or failing in crunch time and the warriors are 5-6 games above 500 at least... i compare this curry to post shaq kobe,there are championships coming,ill bet ya!

@@mrkickinthesky I agree with everything you’re saying and to me this is tied with 2016 because his numbers are basically the same and he’s playing with no spacing. To this day, that season feels like a fairytale to me. It was just special
@bqproductions74483 жыл бұрын
@@mrkickinthesky Yeah I agree with the take for sure. I am just stating from a consistency standpoint and the fact that he was the protagonist for the best regular season in NBA history. But the degree of difficulty this year is insane with the lack offensive talent and veteran intelligence and yet he still lighting everyone up. It is basically absurd what he is doing. When he was out those 8 games they were getting blasted by nearly 20ppg and one of the worst ratings in nba history including teams from 40 or 50 years ago. They are unquestionably the worst team in the league when he is out but yet he comes back and they win 5 of their last 6 with the one loss coming because his teamates miss open layups, wide open shots, and freethrows.

Since the 3 pt line was added for the 1979-1980 NBA season there have been 52,183 NBA games played (46,065 Regular Season and 6,118 Playoff) through today. In all those games there have only been 62 times when a player has scored 10 or more 3s in a game. So in over 40 years, it's happened 62 times. 4 of those were in the last week, by the same person (Steph has 21 total). The chance of a player making 10 or more 3s happening in a game is 0.11% right now. 0.11% chance of happening once, 4 times in a week. I don't have the time to do the probability on it, but it's astronomical. It's likely up there with the same person winning multiple 6 number lotteries and buying 1 ticket each time. Except a lottery is pure chance, and we are talking about repeated performances which are skills. This is MVP like no other. Obviously, if you remove Steph and the 21 games he's scored 10 or more 3s from the 62 total, it destroys the 0.11%, it destroys it so much my calculator gives me an error. The man's performance is so great it breaks my calculator. :P
