There are degrees to each actions. don’t put what owners did same as what desaun did. As far as i know no 22 women came together and accused any nfl owners for sexual assault.
@georgejefferson54572 жыл бұрын
There are more. The NY giants punter during the pro bowl had to be separated from his family. What punishment did that render? There's another precedent. False allegations of sexual assault to extort men of power. The NFL is vulnerable to extortion, even if guilty or not guilty. If they rush to judgement, the mostly white men will be civilly and criminally pursued. Just or unjust, it's simply CYOA time here. The League office knows this is he said vs. she said. The accusers will get money, DeSean will lose money, branding and time. How much and when is the question? And should the NFL prematurely enable false accusations on the future based on this specific situation. Massages are recieved by many many many NFL personnel. The subject brings in coaches, executives, owners, cheerleaders and players. Don't rush and waste more time and money in haste.

Rarely do I agree with Stepen A's remarks when it comes to the Browns. He is 100% correct on his point of view on this matter. The other variable is if the NFL punishes Watson before the civil suits finish it could cause an increase in the award amount (if there is one). Does this then open the NFL to a lawsuit from Watson for influencing the outcome of the civil trial? The NFL should allow the court system to work and then make a decision on a fine/suspension.

Stephen A, really doesn't make sense in his argument. He is saying that the league should take their own actions against Watson because he put himself in those situations, however his logic falls flat because Watson is completely denying anything remotely suspect happened. I'm not saying I believe Watson, but if the NFL can't prove he did something he shouldn't have done, they really don't have a leg to stand on in regards to what Stephen A is saying.

A private company can do whatever they want. If a court finds him innocent but the league doesn’t buy it they have every right to not allow him to play.
