My problem with Ja is that he used mental health as an excuse again in his statement. Like bro people who actually deal with shit like that don’t waive their guns on IG live and beat up minors.

Maybe it’s something to do with the fact that he loves not taking accountability for the narrative he wants to see thrive. His favorite saying is “I’m not saying it, but the narrative is…” and starts to literally say it.

Chris Broussard brought up a great point about that guy who had the domestic abuse allegations and there were pictures and it was terrible. The guy got 30 games. Chris said to go over 30 with Ja would’ve been too much if you’re going to suspend someone for 30 for domestic abuse but try to suspend Ja for more for flashing a gun. I have to agree with that sentiment. (Edit): I thought it went without saying but seeing some comments I want to clarify. I do not approve of Ja’s behavior and would’ve liked to see him suspended longer. I only mentioned the abuse allegations to elaborate on why the PA and the league probably only did 25. I believe that the domestic abuse guy should’ve been suspended much longer too. 25 for Ja and 30 for the DA guy are neither one enough for their actions. I was merely pointing out the idea of precedent and why the suspension played out how it did.

The dude & his boys was running up on HS girls trying to intimidate them because they called his sister names. He's beyond lame & a message needs to be sent to that there is zero tolerance for behavior like that. You want to run in the streets? As I sit here listening, my son (9 yrs old) and 3 cousins (6 to 9 yrs old) arguing on the PS5 about who gonna get Ja Morant‼️ for those of you and I include myself that think what's the big deal? These kids are watching.... Everything ‼️ Ja has to realize he is going to lead a generation ‼️ hope he gets his stuff together and comes back wiser and action packed‼️💯

I guarantee your kid didn't get that shit from him. It's these dumbasses trying to be funny online that they most likely got it from. My son (5), my daughters(6,7,10 and 13) have never said anything like that and they watch the games with me quite often. We're born, raised and reside in Memphis; we've seen and heard way worse just from people up the street.

Steven A! You nailed it right to that bonehead's forehead!! I sho as hell hope it sticks! At some point, he has to realize that he not not only represents his family, he represents his community, his culture, his creed, his fans and the NBA! Good job Steven A. We pray for our young brother! He has a chance to do a lot of good for others with his blessing! Not so much his money but his BLESSING! Ja Morant, watch this video if do don't watch anything else!

Well said, SA! I share the exact sentiments...Especially the part about giving back $60 Million! He didn't give $60 mil to charity to help feed and shelter the homeless or community centers to help save youths in parts of Memphis that really do have the thugs he's trying to emulate. Instead, he gave the money back to the owners who are already wealthy billionaires! 🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️ That money will probably never reach the community now.

@@darkdante9 True. Probably a little if nothing else for P.R. purposes, but that's better than the 0% that will be given after it's been given back.

Someone coming from a bad background just dont make it in Memphis. You don't understand Memphis unless you've lived and grown up in Memphis. It's like a black hole of bad decisions. It just keeps pulling you in until you're stuck. Dude needs to take a long look at who hes hanging out with and REALLY take to heart which direction he wants to go. Lots of sports stars have been killed in Tennessee... from college to pros... the streets dont discriminate on your pay grade...

I just feel David Stern was an iron fist. Basketball players knew he would come down on anyone who disrespected the league. Folks don’t like Rodger Goodell but he makes damn sure the shield is protected and respected. Adam Silver shouldn’t be a “players” commissioner. He needs to be a NBA commissioner and protect the league. This is making sure the Griz stay a little relevant because of the small market team who needs this team to win.

Thanks Stephen A. I've been around for a while and I've seen the most talented ppl fail because they didn't work hard enough, low talent ppl suceed because of hard work, and I've seen ppl's EQ fail them because it just doesn't 'Click' in time for when the opportunity presents. Ja could be thar latter. I really hope not, I really do. We all have all types of these people around us. Sometimes it just doesn't click for them, and they have nobody to blame but themselves. Talent and support is there, it just isn't clicking.
