These brothers touched on a very valuable life lesson that everyone should ponder extensively. People, places, and situations are seasonal. Sometimes, it's just simply time to move and realize that no good guy or bad guy, the life cycle of place and time has run its course, and it's time to move on. Of course, it's dreadfully scary when this gnawing feeling occurs to us because it often comes at the most inopportune moment. When I finances or preparation otherwise, just aren't to imbrace such change. The flip side is that when such revelation comes, the longer we stay in the situation or relationship that used to be good, we now in extreme perilous circumstances. And if worse comes to worse, we only have ourselves to blame because we were warned, but we ignored the warning. Like I said, I hope everything will ponder that internal voice of the advice from someone else, even if it's a stranger, that the time has come to move on. Powerful stuff, ya'll! Skip plays a character, that's all. One of the most successful characters in sports TV history. We all know he acts like a clown, but you gotta respect skips grind.

I think people don’t realize how much Skips at times “ridicules takes” makes the person debating him look good, thus launching them into stardom. The platform he provides is to look really good debating someone saying things everyone disagrees with. Which makes the entire viewership identify with his partner more than him. That’s how Skip got famous. If he just had regular “good takes” he would be like every other reporter who doesn’t have his platform. I think he does it intentionally at times for this reason.

yeah people do not get the entertainment element of it, the same with CNN and Fox News, they live off controversy, the format demands it, so you are going to get ridiculous takes to rile up the co-host and the watching public. SKIP seems to be the only one to understand that and goes into troll mode. I saw Richard Sherman this week do a little himself when he told Irv and Keyshawn that Corner was harder than wide receiver and they both flipped. That is CLASSIC Skip and it works when you are intelligent and your co hosts are emotional like shannon. They either understand and ride the performance element of it, or they get in their feelings, fall apart and start talking about disrespect and racism like dumb children

While I agree sometimes his takes are just ti be either controversial because controversy creates cash or a contrarian, but there are times he believes some of the things he says and that's what led to those breakups. I know with Shannon when you go and look and theur last Tom Brady debate that set Shannon off he really felt Skip believed the things he said which led Shannon to go I'm out.

I walked away loving all 3 of these men, at the end of the day sports commentary in the past 15 years would not even be close to what it is if it wasn’t for skip bayless. Love him or hate him he’s done more than almost anyone to give ppl a platform and he’s never ever been salty about his partner leaving one of his shows.

Skip Bayless didn't verbally abuse Shannon Sharpe, it was a sports debate show and they get heated. Fans wanted that. People fed off the negativity and in the end the show suffered and ultimately died. Skip Bayless has been around sports media for 50 Plus years. He is gonna be fine. And Shannon Sharpe is likeable (that is what most likely carried him his whole life tbh) he gonna be fine.

Where Skip discredited Shannon's Career achievements to big up TB and then when Shannon took offense, Skip tells him to put his glasses back on. Then the whole Hamlin incident just confirmed it was on borrowed time. Kind of same with SAS and Max on First Take. I knew the second that TO said Max was blacker than SAS, Max's days were numbered.
