Racism comes into play bc no black candidates are being seriously considered, let alone hired as HC or GM.
@joewalker21334 жыл бұрын
@@KhamadiPlusOne not sure if racism, is a factor in the hiring of a general manager of a 2 billion dollar organization. The requirements for the position eliminates 99.9 per cent of all people. White, of color, female, Spanish, Japanese or Martians don't qualify for the Job. Why do we have to hire a person who is any other than the one who is the best fit. I'm not trying to make you feel wrong or right. If a black player retires and wants to be a GM, then I gurantee if he's a bright, well educated and will be committed to the strain of a GM, that person will be able to get a shot. Not many people who are rich and retired want that gig. Elway and Lynch both are prime examples of what dedication, hard work, and never doubting their decisions will impact an organization. Didn't work out for Magic and that hurt a few other minorities in the future. Lol

Lynch absolutely pillaged the Bears and then he cock blocked the Saints. And then he got the Seahawks to trade out of the first round and they haven't drafted well at all the past 5 drafts. Hell of a first draft from the new front office and coach.

I think Stephen A Smith might've just blown his own mind and others to prove that a job resume isn't everything. Some people can sit in the wings, watch and learn (or go and learn on their own), and do well at a job, or think exactly like the people that ARE qualified, and stand next to the people that are qualified at that job. Degrees, (REQUIRING) experience, resumes: all overrated. You know it's racism when you realize that Smith wouldn't be saying these things if John Lynch were an African American. He'd be saying "bout time" etc etc.

+seansurfn2 What does outcome have to do with it? Nothing, not a damn thing. Anectdotal evidence is a weak argument, because there are at least (if not more) examples where favoritism fucked teams up, because the best qualified was NOT hired. Besides...the comparison is not correct, because Elway had intimate involvement with player moves even when he was a player (You thing Terrell Davis appeared out of thin air, given that Elway realized that the one thing his teams lacked was a running game?) Lastly...if you want to argue experience, even...how can a man get the necessary background when he can't get hired in the first place because you bitches want to suck each others' dicks?

Well Stephen A, eat you're heart out my brotha. The man obviously had a plan going in and so did Kyle shannahan. They got their Quarterback they've wanted since the off season and are now ahead of schedule in terms of the QB spot. John Lynch understood he needed a franchise Quarterback and more talent on the offensive and defensive side of the ball. What he's done in just one off season, and the last 5 games of this season, is executing his plan. He's added a franchise QB, he's got skill players on offense that can ball but most of them young players. You can say the same thing about the defense, they have players who can absolutely ball and make plays, but they're all young players. He gots some veterans in there and a pretty good up coming draft pick that's probably gonna be a cornerback or safety.
