You're missing the point. Racism isn't just about individual prejudice-it's also about systemic power. While anyone can be prejudiced, systemic racism involves the power to enforce those prejudices through institutions, which historically hasn't been in Black people's hands. @@Yobi-One no, you are missing the point. I understand there is racism in the world and I understand some situations give advantages to certain individuals based on race/sex/cultural groups. But what she said is that “black people can’t be racist.” Anyone can be racist. She is racist. To say one person or one entire race can’t be racist is a ridiculous statement. Let’s look at Caitlin Clark. She is maybe the greatest basketball player the WNBA has ever seen. She is physically checked in almost every game she plays (by players of another race), she was passed over for a spot on the Olympic team, she is ridiculed by other members of the WNBA. All of that is SYSTEMIC RACISM and BIGOTRY, because she is a straight white woman. That’s your systemic racism on display, and it ain’t coming from white people, pal! Racism is racism. It doesn’t matter if it comes from white people, black people, Asian people, whatever. You can’t be so blind as to say that “black people can’t be racist.” Any and all races can be racist, whether we’re talking about individual or systemic racism. She claims that she’s black and can’t be racist. That statement is completely untrue, and anyone who believes otherwise is wrong.

I'd rather just focus on the fact that in the WNBA, she's making such a huge splash and legit makes me want to watch her games. I definitely feel she raises the standard in WNBA basketball and will lead to greater competition in the future which is always a good thing.

Court awareness... Her passing and wanting to just get the ball in the basket, while not caring who gets the basket on her team reminds me more of Larry Bird.

It isn’t her shooting prowess that everyone loves to me it’s her passing ability full court instant response.

She able to pass the ball like the way she do cause women do play defense and.move slow

If the WNBA had any since they would celebrate this athlete! She could bring attention to their league like MJ did.

the audacity to say openly in a public forum that "black people can't be racist" is the most ludicrous thing. it's unreal that someone in today's america can say something like that and still have a voice.

If she came to Australia for a WNBA game, she would break attendance records. This girl is worldwide.

She’s the first WNBA player I’ve heard of. She’s a class act on and off the court. She’s a great role model for girls growing up playing basketball.

With Clark, the WNBA will be closer to making money as a whole. Every year prior to her entering the WNBA, the WNBA is in the red and losing money. If this continues, the NBA, who funds the WNBA might be forced to change something. Clark is in the league at the right time.

No one hates watching a women succeed more than other women... We see it clear as day with CC. Instead of enjoying and thanking her for all the crowd that she brought to the sport, they show envy, jealousy and resentment. Pathetic

I don't know how many times they've done things like scavenger hunts or whatever activities but I do feel team bonding helps A LOT! I also agree practicing and game footage but in a competitive sport sometimes you need a leisure day with people bonding to make a better team/family. Just my opinion

Team USA's men and women teams were handled so differently. I just don't get why so many women in the wnba want to hinder the wnba like this. Is it really just for jealousy and personal gain? So selfishly short sided tbh
