So much here and so much to be grateful for... I take heart in the, nowadays, near truism that the happy childhood is barely worth the effort of living. The raging crucible is a necessary stage before the forging of metal. Like children we scream in desperation at our plight. But if we reflect in later times we may see clear benefits in what was experienced - we will feel we have been 'educated'. Pleasant memories rarely provoke such reflections. But, that's just opinion , and God most certainly knows best,
