Many, even all, of his stories contain romance. No romance, no life. (Do you see what I’m getting at? Define, “romance,” and you will see that it’s something that of the definition, some people aren’t there, yet.) Yet, Mr. King dances with it, flawlessly. A longtime lover of reading (and repeater readings) his books for life. Thank you, and you are loved, Stephen and Family. You have an Army behind you. Please don’t stop playing those Hits! 🎶🎵😊🕯🌸🕊❤️

If I could ask Stephen King one question it would be, "Were you at all inspired to write BS by the cable series "Barry." Three similarities to that wonderful TV show make me wonder: the plot of a former military sniper turned professional assassin who limits his kills to "bad guys," the carnival scene where the assassin wins a stuffed animal for his friend's daughter, and the use of the Marine slang phrase "Kissing in." If Mr. King answered "yes," I'd say more power to you. Love the book.

Stephen King. I'm reading 'On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft' again right now. I have a question: how in the world did you write 'The Stand'? For me it holds a place right up there with 'East of Eden'. Fast moving, jaw dropping, and my favorite subject...the choice of being good or evil. How long did it take you to finish writing it? What a story...I was really glad to find that the movie stayed true to the book. I read a lot and my 'keepers' i read over again years later (I've read James Herriot's series so much it's practically committed to memory) and find that it's never a waste of time to revisit an old friend that happens to be a good book. Glad you're well...your hair's just fine.
