A brand-new novel from legendary storyteller Stephen King! Sometimes growing up means facing your demons. The son of a struggling single mother, Jamie Conklin just wants an ordinary childhood. But Jamie is no ordinary child. Born with an unnatural ability his mom urges him to keep secret, Jamie can see what no one else can see and learn what no one else can learn. But the cost of using this ability is higher than Jamie can imagine - as he discovers when an NYPD detective draws him into the pursuit of a killer who has threatened to strike from beyond the grave. Later is Stephen King at his finest, a terrifying and touching story of innocence lost and the trials that test our sense of right and wrong. With echoes of King’s classic novel It, Later is a powerful, haunting, unforgettable exploration of what it takes to stand up to evil in all the faces it wears.

I’m guessing those are blinds but they almost look like the rolled down doors to those old storage sheds. But then the floor and aquarium make it look like a hospital waiting room in some downtown area of a major city. Is this a office for him? Did he convert a storage facility into a place to do interviews? Is this the warehouse where he drags his victims, feeding them bit by bit to his rare tropical carnivorous fish? 🤔 🤔 so many questions...

I love Stephen King books “The Stand” is my favorite. Sadly Stephen is one of the most liberal people out there. I’m starting to wonder if cancel culture will ever come for him since if you really read “The Stand” it is full of racist references especially in certain spots and about a certain character. Now I don’t condone all this leftist PC book burning that’s going on right now... but what’s sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander. So now I don’t read Stephen King books anymore and if I want to see something in this subject that he’s writing about currently...I’ll just go watch the Sixth Sense.
