I feel like the Spring Olympics would be even more challenging in Canada. Talk about cross country running in the slush and sleet, synchronized maple-water harvesting in the mud (points lost for any yellow water collected), cycling in the new crop of potholes and detritus, the 100m mounds-of-brown-snow, the 1 500m running/swimming in the street corner lakes while buses splash at you followed by a panel of judges deciding which athlete is the cleanest in the end for extra points, and the emptying of basement full of water from the last flood. Now that's extreme sports!

Funny, but I ditched Network TV 7 years ago and stream everything from Acorn, BritBox, History Hit TV and BBC because they have superior TV compared to the shallow crap on American TV. No more car commercials or lying politicians; what I want when I want it. My exceptions are PBS and KZbin (which is full of commercials) but only for Colbert. Acorn has content from Canada, Australia, South Africa plus the UK. BritBox is as it sounds, UK and few from Europe with subtitles. History Hit TV is mostly historical documentaries, with a lot of original content.

Guys on my college softball team were obsessed w/trying to break bottles over their heads.
