I was 21 and working late with buddy in a kitchen. We thought the building was empty after the banquet, but Judy Collins was staying in the guest suite. We didn't know, and we were singing at the tops of our lungs. She came down to check out what was going on. We sang for her, she sang for us, we talked. She treated us peasants so well. Classy woman. The love of singing united three us for half an hour.

@@markburnham7512 His guitar playing was only one part of his total package IMO. His ability to write, sing, produce, and deliver his music in his style was what I really liked. Photographed Judy in Denver for an article in the Denver Post (she is from Denver and at the time, still had a house there). The article was published in 1972. I had the opportunity to photograph her again a few years ago and give her some prints of the session in 1972. I believe she was happy to have them.

He's now virtually 100% and it's not correctible by hearing aids and in case you are unaware, you need to hear in order to speak effectively. I'm just glad he's still around.
