These two ! Long have I admired them and because they got in the way of Jimmy White winning (my family Tooting , Micham, Streatham in London), I also despised them. I remember Steve's dominance, then this young Scot with blond hair at his crucible debut and thinking, damn. I was born a year later than Stephen and I never had the opportunity to play till 1988 when I was 18 and could with a credit card as ID get into a Snooker venue, My highest break is 136 and I missed black of the spot at the end (I still remember that more than the pats on the back I got), I even had in Northampton Barrats snooker , a certain Shaun Murphy ask me to play a game or two with him, but I was playing with a friend and that was important he didn't feel I went for a better match but had fun with him. That is the feeling I get here with Steve and Stephen, friends having competitive banter, two legends and greats of the game nothing to prove and that's what makes it so good. Bravo you two :)
