Definitely. The TV presenters have never picked up a cue in there life. Stephen is a natural presenter and should be like Match of the day Lineker but for snooker

Hendry such a humble bloke considering he was easily the best snooker player of his generation and maybe even of all time? Also, absolutely love it when he's commentating! He really elevates any game he's commentating on with his passion and insight! Must be hard going from being the best to struggling to make a 50 break but the guy is pure class about it! Someone to learn from!

This is something Hendry needed to do a long time ago but better late than never from the Snooker legend.The greatest long Potter under pressure I've ever seen in Snooker was Mr.Hendry and he proved how good he can still be still at the beginning of the second frame where he pots the long red and takes the 2 reds away from the black landing perfect on it and he called it before taking the shot.

@@Handless_handle In his prime though, he was a good player. He would often find entries to attack from opponents safety plays by hitting very difficult shots. Once his potting declined though, he basically resorted to the grind. Not against the rules, but not that great to watch.

Probably one of the best snooker episodes I've ever seen. I'm 54 and watched a shit-ton of snooker, but this is just right. A couple of snooker legends having a really interesting natter over a table. Amazing content. Hendry the relentless WC winning machine vs Hendry the affable pundit - are they the same person!? 😉

I'd avoided these videos for a while, for no particular reason other than I suspected they'd not be particularly interesting. This is the fourth one now that I've watched over the last two days - very much more interesting than I'd imagined, and it's nice to get some insight into the players away from their professional environment. I've no doubt I shall be watching more, thanks for setting this series up.

Having the camera move around so you get the perspective of being there and observing the shots is what is special. You can learn a lot more this way. Try to get more input about what the player is attempting with the cue ball and how close they come.

i always support the underdog in any sports competition. I recall Hendry saying the opposite that he supports the favorite which took me back a bit. :-) Is that what makes a champion? I therefore expected an arrogant sort of bloke but the exact opposite. Modest even self effacing and still willing to learn from others. No longer that seemingly aloof win at all costs teenage champion but a pleasure to watch/listen to him interview the other champs. Thanks!

Lucky enough to have watched Neil practise with his dad Ian at Cuesports in Knox city in Melbourne (was an interesting place I’m sure people who went there back in the day would know). Ian also nice enough to give me some coaching there when I was hanging around meant to be in school. Got a cheeky game of pool with Neil when his dad went to get lunch sometimes

Aside from being wonderful snooker players, Stephen Hendry and Steve Davis have something else in common. Perhaps because of their single-minded dedication to the game in their glory years, they came across as somewhat taciturn. Then when they got older they loosened up and became such engaging characters. It’s funny how that often happens in sport. Great channel.

I was made aware of your channel by ‘Break From Life,’ which is one of my absolute favorite channels. Would be great to see you do some content with him.
