Superb video, one of the best so far. I interviewed Ali in 2013 about his testicular cancer for ITV. He was a gentleman and when I said I'd be calling a taxi to take me back to the train station, he insisted on driving me personally in his sports car and even helped me carry my camera equipment. We talked non-stop on the journey. Quality guy and love watching him play. Delighted that he won a tournament either side of this interview.

So much respect for Ali for talking so candidly about his health issues. Us men need to be more open about these things and share our experiences with one another, as too many are suffering in silence. Unfortunately our culture discourages men from talking about these sorts of issues, but that's thankfully changing. I myself am going through a very hard time right now with my health and living with chronic pain in my pelvis and lower back, and it's really helps me whenever I hear other men talk about their experiences, it encourages me and makes me feel braver to talk with others about what I'm going through. Ali has just done this here and I guarantee a lot of other guys feel the same way. Thanks mate!

And as an avid ronnie fan, I've come to warm to Ali, as a competitor, as a person he is spiky and difficult/different.. but he allowed me to understand him more and now I respect him slightly more than I did. got to be honest i agree with Ali ,even hendry wasnt too kind on him either which was telling ....Ronnie o sullivan is an arsehole ,its hardly a secret ....check out Matt selts story ,mark williams even had a snipe ,very few have something positive to say beyond his ability ....Ronnie is an amazing snooker player but a complete bellend ...not to say Ali is a great guy but Ronnie certainly isnt

I agree. When Alex was an ar5e it was at least entertaining or interesting (from a headlines point of view, not nice to he punched or insulted) but Ronnie just has this element to his personality that I'm unable to praise.

I agree with other comments, this is the best one so far. I really respect Ali as a player and he is a decent human being. What he went through with his health issues and how he has come out the other side is an inspiration to others. I agree with him, medication is not the be all and end all to deal with illnesses. I am testament to this as well. Great watching Ali win recently. All the best to him in the future, deserves to win a world championship.
