Big up Ste 💥 I love McT as an squad player not starter, always liked him & always wanted a player like him to end his career at UTD however due to circumstances with us need needing to sell in order to improve the squad I wouldn't mind letting him go. Tough decisions sometimes have to be made in order to improve, all for the betterment of the club. Hopefully there will be some movement this week to get the ⚽ rolling in order for another player to come in, hopefully it's Ugarte ("box2box" 😉). Ugarte is a combative defensive midfielder ✧ A DM who can also play box2box but his natural position/style/role is to be a DM. GGMU 🔴

And where are all these midfielders going to play? Casemiro looks like he's got his fitness back and they won't bench him while he's on £375k per week. Mount has also returned - shall we sell mainoo? We also still have Eriksen and we're supposed to be developing Collyer. Where do we play all these midfielders if we bring in Ugarte and Berge? We gonna spend £90m on a couple of back ups that won't score as many as Scott?
@Misfits8222 ай бұрын
@@IceMeltChorgash if you're relying on Mctominay to win you games and score you goals, your team is flawed. He is an antithesis of how we, as a team, want to play football. And as for the squad, Kobbie is 19 and should not be playing anywhere near as many minutes as he did last year. He's good enough, but, he needs limited minutes. There are dozens of world class prospects that burned out and never hit their heights bc they were too heavily relied on in their young years. Case cannot start 2 games a week. He should be playing once a week at most and should be evaluated whether he should start depending on who we're playing. Mount cannot stay fit, and if he is fit he can play in 5 positions. Eriksen is done at this level unfortunately and ideally would be sold but you're getting peanuts for him. Bruno is Bruno and should play every game but we saw last season what happens when he plays 90 minutes twice a week. It would be nice having the option to rest him in smaller cup games. Ultimately, you need 7 midfielders for 3 positions if you want to compete on all fronts. If that 7 are: Bruno, Mount, Case, Kobbie, Ugarte and Berge you're flying. Variation in tactical setup, different styles and pros/cons, different age profiles etc. Top teams have depth. We haven't had depth for over a decade. If you want to go into the season with 4 midfielders (Bruno,mount,Kobbie and Case) good enough, for the style of football and the amount of games we will be playing, then that's your opinion. It's a shit opinion but it's still yours 👍

Pretty wild Maguire, man of the match for the other team on many many occasions is still in the building and mct has to go. I'm sure it's down to his actual value and the fact Harry has none. What's mount getting paid for exactly as well. Absolute waste of money. I forgot he even played for at one point last season.

I think it is finally starting to work that the other clubs are realizing Man U is not to be taken advantage of anymore. Good news.

McTominay to United is worth at least 35-40 million I don't think you actually get a better player than him for cheaper in the slightest, look at what every manager says about him they all love him for a reason.

Getting McTominay for £25-30m is a crazy bargain.

So... anyone see the comment section from Rio's latest video?
@Jza-GZa40k2 ай бұрын
We will not miss Mctominay,We’ve only been used to him and many others because we’ve been so so bad over the years with different managers who played dross football,We need good players with the ball and who are intelligent on the pitch,Unfortunately many of our players are not that so we need to move these players on.
@d-law8682 ай бұрын
what on earth would McTominay do in Brighton ??? They are all about passing and moving...
@mettycarpenter32672 ай бұрын
There’s other players that need to move on badly that I’d prefer over Scott but to get to the next level. Top level. Scott ain’t got enough attributes to get us there. Shame cuz I know!!!! He embodies the attitude

Good Video Ste 👍 McTominay, Fred, Park Ji-sung are a similar players, a player that will run there socks off and give 100% every game I think its Scott's time to move on and wish him all the best because he is a top lad 👍

You didn't just compare either of McFred to Ji-Sung Park. Come on.
@Simon.W12 ай бұрын
@@scottsinner7530 Park is class!! my point is they all played the same roll run there bloody socks off giving 100% every game

I think selling McTominay is purely PSR driven, I don't think they would be desperate to sell him. Think they've had to do it because of the mess we are in and the fact that Casemiro isn't leaving.
@Bloodnok492 ай бұрын
PSR driven is a good description.- PSR will be abolished sooner than later because big clubs who thought it smart to hide behind PSR to restrict transfer fees and wages, now realise how it is an equaliser that adversely impacts them! Karma for being skinflints.

I'd take 25mil for McT, let alone 30mil
@StAlfonzo232 ай бұрын
The Mcfred starting era ruined both their long term reputations. We’ll find the same with the more recent acquisitions, takes years to get them out, usually only by the end of their contracts. He should have left three years ago.

Is this the same Steven Howson that slates McTominay and says he cant pass? Bro this is a good sale, you're wild.

True, then goes on to saying we should spend the money from Mctominey on Berge rather than Ugarte 😂 I'd rather go back for Amrabat
@ClihtYeastwood2 ай бұрын
Wow, look at you two. You have different opinions. Opinions can evolve, Ste’s did. It took mctominay having his best season for this to happen. But mctominay can’t pass, hides from the ball in a midfield role and couldn’t progress it forward if his life depended on it. So wtf is your point?
