God this song hits deep. It is very coincidental that the first girl I ever tried to swoon over was named Kayla. And this was pretty recent too. These lyrics perfectly describe my feelings about her. Feeling all kinds of emotions. Feeling sad that she didn't share these feelings. Happiness that I had the guts to even try to go for it. Regret that I couldn't have done more or better. But that is fine. I am trying to move on. This song kinda made it a bit harder but it is a nice tune to listen too.
