I finally got the $SOL together and sneakers to mint out my #STEPN Genesis #3018, my beloved first UC Jogger from December. I talk through my enhance strategy on it and then also open up a Level 8 MB at the end.
What happens? 🤔
STEPN is a Move 2 Earn game on Solana and Binance and really getting into the communities eyes and minds. It's a very basic start to the game, you move for 10 minutes a day with an NFT of a pair of sneakers, and you earn $GST every day!

That's tough luck mate. Trying to generate specific sockets at these sneaker levels is heartwrecking. I did a common mint today hoping to get a double mint or a couple of comfort slots but is was a let down. Next stop is an enhancement hoping for that rare sneaker. Doubtful with my luck haha. I've shown all my inputs from the beginning, I received 2x Genesis Commons, 1 in December and 1 in February, they were normal community drops back then, so no. I do all my game stuff according to my own risk and future planning. Doesnt always go well, I watched my Epic come down heavily since I bought it, and yes I love the game and what it's done in changing my own life. It is not just about the GST earnings my friend.

Easy, 20% per sneaker, or gem in the corresponding level slot (5,10,15,20)

nice... I love your input in this game but many person's are giving up already!... you really inspire me. that means I can buy and hold more sneaker in one account (single wallet) or I can transfer one from another account to existing acount (wallet) that already have a sneaker?

How do you determine the gemslots for the enhance?? Is there a white paper explaining it ?? And I want to use the enhance thing is it best to use only bad attributes or also some good ones ??? Like my main jogger , thanks

Gem slots are the same.as.the sneaker chance, 20% per gem colour in the individual socket corresponding the level

great video Barndog - although im still new to this, and am still very much an amateur. In your video you said if it was an efficiency gem you'd be unimpressed (or whatever wording you used) I know you like comfort for the MB drops, but why is an E socket not a good one to have - in the beginning isn't that what you want to earn higher quicker? Comfort is later on in the game right?

I've got myself Efficiency sneakers, for me I've been trying to build out a wicked GMT earner for later on, still haven't had great luck on it, so keep upgrading one of my enhancement sneakers until I work out how to get a better one

Damn those Efficiency slots!! It's so hard to make any sense of both the enhance and the Mystery Boxes but it's fun! Hope You get a lucky rare mint which becomes an Epic. Why do you want to have R socket? It seems super useless, if you dont have enough resilience, you can add several points through leveling , its never worth a socket+gem

Marathon mode in September may change that, I don't see it always being a sub optimal need in the game, GMT isn't for ages so it's my game brain saying add it for later

I read about marathon mode in the white paper, kinda not 100% sure how it will work and whether resilience will be mandatory for that, but you might be right. On the other hand it could be that you just use another shoe for the marathon

Value now on the shoes like others holding onto theirs when SOL and all that went down don't really matter to me. I'm not sure if they are that much each atm honestly with SOL down at $37. But longterm game items I'll never want to lose
