What is a Genesis sneaker?
STEPN went open beta on December 2021. The team donated the first 5,000 to the game testers and early community, and the next 5,000 have been used for prizes along the way, this wasn't a project that actually minted for a set price of $SOL.
From there we've also have Binance chain come into the game, and people are a little confused about what a Genesis actually is, so I break it down with a few photos of different sneakers and shoeboxes still unopened on the marketplace at the beginning of May.
STEPN is a Move 2 Earn game Solana and now also Binance and really getting into the communities eyes and minds. It's a very basic start to the game, you move for 10 minutes a day with an NFT of a pair of sneakers, and you earn $GST every day!

I like the video, and it shows us what a Genesis Sneaker is but what does a Genesis Sneaker do? Why would someone want it over a non Genesis shoe? Does it earn more GST? Does it have more energy? The video wasn't too clear on what the function of a Genesis Sneaker is. If you could let me know that would be great and my mother says you're welcome for the rabbits!

A question about GST earnings optimization: Does your momentary speed also have an influence or is it only the avg speed that is relevant? That is, is it sub-optimal that I maybe walk 3kmh on a runner for the first 50m? Gilgamesh: "4. Movement speed should be within your sneakers' optimal speed (green zone). If you have a "walker" sneaker for example, the optimal speed is between 1-6 kmh. Moving 50% faster or slower than this optimal speed/green zone will reduce your GST earning. Moving MORE THAN 50% faster or slower than the optimal speed/green zone will give ZERO GST. "

It's the current speed that counts, it pays out as you go, first after 90 seconds and then every minute. Also I wouldn't keep tracking after your energy runs out, I've heard people report that it will still deduct from the durability.

I love STEPN and jog everyday but I'm afraid on copy cats coming and stealing the show. But maybe it's needed for us who just started in the game as it really feel like the early adopters got it a lot more easy... Genesis skeakers, sneakers drops, Mystery Box with sneakers in them? The sneaker within Mystery Boxes never actually eventualized. Any game you will see that the early adopters are rewarded, and there become top tier NFTs within those projects. What's important is the rest of the game stays on track, and this has the entire time

Guys may I ask you why the price is so different on the BNB chain? I believe it is not possible to send sneakers between these two channels (SOL&BNB) yet what is so unique about the BNB chain that some are ready to pay such a ginormous price for the BNB-chain sneakers?

Asked often, there are less ppl earning GST, causing more pressure on the tokens and NFTs, with giveaways, dynamic minting, things should level out more. Good to make sure you are careful with the prices, still high from what I see through demand

Hi mate, important question I cant answer in a response here. It's one to look deeply at for any crypto game, tge token utility and team and how they are keeping them in place during peak times is important. I like how transparent the team is in the entire endeavour, that's a key element to it all.

How about to fix energy to be only for one block chain. Example i have 2 pear of shoes on solana and 1 pear shoe on bnb chain , i spent 4 energy with the shoe on bnb chain and after trade gst for bnb and sell bnb for more usd. And if i decide to spend the 4 energy on the solana chain and trade gst for solana and sell solana for usd i get 4 time less $$$. Is like chaeting and need to be fix..
