#STEPN is a game that's grown in the complexity and level of sneakers, gems and even Realms! So what can you do with only 1-3 sneakers on Solana?
I get asked this often on JwB, enough that I thought I should do a video and give you some ideas to help you on your way to increase your Vault and earning potentials in the game, enjoy!
STEPN is a Move 2 Earn game on Solana and Binance and really getting into the communities eyes and minds. It's a very basic start to the game, you move for 10 minutes a day with an NFT of a pair of sneakers, and you earn $GST every day!

hi man , I hope you will tell the developers that they must change the gmt need to level up in solana. 1 gmt = 10x gst at solana . its crazy and never been like that. it's not worth to level up. the game is stuck. 😢

Hey Barndog love all the videos you put out and really appreciate the time and effort you put into them. I am kind of stuck on what i want to do next. I currently have 5 common joggers, one of them is a near perfect common GST earner (EEEL) Base stats E:9.9 L:5.5 C:9.9 R:9.6. Because it has such good stats i want to keep that shoe. I was thinking do i sell 4 of my other sneakers and purchase 5 common gmt earner sneakers and then enhance them to future proof myself for when GMT earning comes out? Or do you think there is a better strategy for me? Thanks mate

I think being close to 9, to remove so many of your vault sneakers now could really slow you down long term. We dont have a locked date on GMT earning either, so you're more in a spot of solidifyijg your position, maybe too early to look at GMT shoes if you wreck your actual energy

@@solanagamingwithbarndog7348 appreciate the reply mate. Will focus on getting to 9 shoes. Only thing is it’s now a pretty slow grind to 9 with current prices. I could even purchase GMT earners as commons to get to 9 shoes and then enhance them once GMT earning comes out

@@rhys6021 the grind is real, absolutely. Make sure you have a good level on your main efficiency shoe as it's a good long process, and you can work out your ROI on those easily enough

Hello! I have a question concerning sneakers and energy. I have 10 sneakers ou of which 1 is UC in SOL network and 1 additional common in BSC. I want to try my luck in enhancement. If I do that, I will end up with 4 common and 2 UC in SOL plus 1 in BSC. How much energy am I going yo have afterwards? I m confused about the contribution of the BSC sneaker. Will it be 6 energy from the 4 C and 2 UC or 7? Or the BSC sneaker's 1 energy will only count when I get 8 shoes in Solana plus 1 from bsc which would make me have 11 total? Hope it isn't too complicated 😅

It's complicated in the way you have explained it - the energy bridge means each Realm has seperate energy. So on Solana if you have 4C + 2 UC = 6.0 energy as you have 6 sneaker (3 more commons would take you to 11.0 energy). If you only have 1 UC on Binance then you have 3.0 energy there

Leveling up Will indeed give you more gst but given that the price of gst decreases on a daily basis the ROI of investing that gst is lower then what you explained

ROI is always a moving number, that's why I try to explain how to work it out vs hard "you will do it in this time" type thing

You missed the most important part.. how much will you have put in and how much will you get back - how long to ROI? Anyone can spend money - but this about MOVE TO EARN... What is the Earn Ratio to Capital in......

I thought I showed people how to work those figures out and increase their earnings over the entire amount. I broke down current figures on BSC cneakers including daily earnings, that can then be used to work out your ROI.

@@solanagamingwithbarndog7348 Sorry, you did list that. What I have is - 3 Sneakers are currently about $290US and will get you about $1.20 a day using current average data. Thats with GST staying at $0.10. That is a break even of 246 days (does not factor in sneaker value so it;s less time than that). If GST goes to $0.05 then it's 493 days (less with sneaker value). What ever money is not taken out and put back in to upgrade the sneakers - will mean the break-even will be longer because the higher valued capital (GST) was no removed and the value will probably be lower with the deflationary GST token. The positive is - its better with sneaker at $100 per than $1500 per. Less risk. I just see this as a walking app now and not a move to earn. The sneakers will not go up unless GST goes up. I don't see GST going up unless they limit selling GST or something drastic like that. Tens of thousands of people have lost well over a thousand so far. DUNE StepN new users last day reported was only 893. It's been falling because GST has been and it's not just because of a bear market. To me - it seems to be the poor deflationary management of GST?

@@solanagamingwithbarndog7348 3 Sneakers 4 Energy LV 0 Sneakers would net $0.44 now (wouldnt buy) LV 5 Sneaker with 4 Energy E=22 R=9 is 17.64 GST gross and 13.68 GST NET or $1.38 per day. GST looks to be breaking $0.10 soon. It's all that matters. Even going E-28 and R-12 its 19.80 and 16.56 GST NET or $1.65 a day. When GST goes to $0.05 in a few weeks that shoe will be worth $50. and all the money pumped back in will drop as well. I had $12.4K in with 9 shoes and got luck and sold everything except a LV 30 Common Jogger I use every day and earn $1.60. I sold everything and bought that shoe for $1200? right as BNB sneakers collapsed. I almost bought a BNB and gambled - If I did I would have lost $5000-6000 probably. It collapsed fast. I'd down $1500 with it all. If I didn't mint and sell it all when I did - and had I re-invested all the GST I would be down $10,000+ Tens of thousands are down thousands.. A ton of people bought thinking StepN had decent control of the math side of GST / deflation. I don't think they did and GST was able to short sale.

That $20k hit on LV 5 Luck gem must have did some earnings damage? I'm not trying to sound like a prick or anything - it's just that StepN was always about Move to Earn and should make economic sense to participate. At current prices - maybe its less dangerous? Buying a sneaker for $100 is much less risk than $500 or $1500. Making $1.40 on $300 NFT value is a pretty good return if it holds. But $.70 a day and NFT value of $150 isnt. Youre walking to try and get back capital put in. Which is where 90%++ of everyone in StepN is.... walking to get anything back.

So for sneakers 👟 if you have 9-14 Commons you would have 9.0 energy. Depending on the type/level depends on how much GST you earn per day, roughly 50-100 a day, but it's worth researching how it all works before jumping into buying 10 straight away

Yup, it's a nightmare using 1 sneaker atm - unplayable. For 3 sneakers you can start to play a little bit, but still not enjoyable. Really in the game you need 9 sneakers to "play" and I certainly don't want to be telling people to put in 20 SOL to start the game, it's a shame, hopefully the team finally listen and make adjustments
