I have just ordered the book, Stepping into freedom, and it will be the 23rd book that I've bought, written by Thay. His beautiful teachings are a constant continuation of him and I love that he is always with me, in my home ❤

I am grateful for your time on earth. Joy in the present moment you have taught in your books and videos. Forgiveness you have taught. Humility. Respect. Equanimity. You have been a most valuable teacher to me and multitudes. May you rest in peace.

If they made these videos into a collection I’d buy it as my most prized treasure. This man was one of the absolute greats along with Marcus Aurelius. Changed countless lives and continues to do so even after his unfortunate passing. R.I.P. would’ve loved to attend a Dharma talk.

Living as a monastic may be the simplest and easiest way to freedom, but being ready to make the choice to BE a monastic, to let go of so much, must be a HUGE step in itself.

It's so true . It makes me sad. Eveeryone is out for themselves. But if you reach out and look for like minded people there are some people out there. I use to be like that. And then people started appearing before me . And I was able to be myself with them. As they are trying to be kind and spiritual.

@@shirleyjones4041 , indeed that all starts inside each of us. All the real answers come from inside. We live in a world run by sociopaths and psychopaths and to deny that is the shortcoming of this guys perspective of Buddhism and pacifism. To be totally nonviolent is a very foolish perspective because it allows the maniacs to control you as they do today . Niot very complicated actually. Alan Watts said it all very well 50 years ago. Thich does put out some very good info but it must also be tempered with a dose of common sense and reality of this current world of insanity we all live in.

Thua Kinh Thay & Sangha, Thank you for your continuation and Thay's teachings. Seven years after following Thays teachings through books and videos for 16 years I wanted to be ordained as a nun under Thay but I found out I was to old at 60 years old ,but, that didn't stop me from continuing my practice diligently and visiting other buddhist temples to be with a sangha to this day. This video was perfect for me for today for Thay's gentle reminders of the practice and it's true meanings and that I am a continuation of Thay. I live 7 hrs north of Deer Park and managed to spend a day of mindfulness March 2022, it was wonderful to be there surrounded by the monastics , sangha and the essence of Thay's presence. I plan to search out the Sangha's here in the south bay area to practiced with since the Covid has settled down and practice in the Plum Village tradition. I have arrived.. I have arrived home🙏🙏🙏❤ " A Cloud Never Dies" TNH

This is a very valuable Dharma talk that the Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh has transferred the Buddha teaching to our minds, and our hearts for healing the suffering in our human being life. He passed away from his human life a few months ago, but his spiritual ways are always living with many peoples around the world. He is one of the brightest monks of our era. Thank you!

His energy is very peacefully. He truly is a master of teaching calmness and gentleness. I'm intrigued at his strategy that never fails to impress. There are some very interesting perceptions that all of man can benefit from. Since listening to him he has inspired a greater mindfulness that i notice everyday now.i would have loved to meet him. Thank you.

when I heard that he went home to Vietnam - after he had a stroke - I decided to go there last year...because I missed all opportunities to attend a retreat with him when he was well...and so I had the luck to meet him on my first visit in the monastery where he lives now and where he. wants to die... some visitors there - it was their 5th visit...already...and only on their 5th visit did they have a chance to meet him...he is not receiving visitors or going out each day...depends I think on his state of health....I cried loads of tears after I met him and was sobbing near a gigantic bell in the monastery ....I guess I was sad that someone who is light to the world will be leaving us for good sooner or later...although of course in buddhist teaching there is no death, no birth, no beginning, no ending...but I was still very sad....I am also thankful to have him in the world in this lifetime...he is truly a guide, a light in this suffering world....so much to learn from him still....

@@cathieharris1127 I'm very happy he has returned to his true home for the final stages of his life. He has touched so many people. It's hard not to be sad that his tale is nearly at an end, but also hard not to want to embrace life and the universe with the same vigour he did and just say "this is it"

His comment on feeling your body and enjoying it is spot on ! Also recently Sadhguru mentioned how perfect this planet is and all living thngs on it. Sadhguru also mentioned the most destuctive form of living things on this planet are humans not animals. He was quite right. Thich points out how people walk around not really awake, but he never says plainly that is because people are living in the many illusions created for them (Maya) to control them or that they create for themselves ! Not at all complicated or Buddhist particularly.
