Two questions... how to you get your samples in so clean and how do you get your audio so crispy?

I always create my samples (chord progressions, single notes, field recordings, etc.) in Logic before sending them to the PO-33 through the Line In! I tend EQ, compress, and chop the audio in Logic before recording it onto the PO-33! So a lot of production goes into my samples! I can create a full video on the process! I'm finishing up the tutorial for this track and it follows me making the song from scratch!

I'm in love with this man! The water samples and auxiliary percussion is so tasteful. And pitch shifting it to transition 👌. Where did you get the synth sound? Sounds chorusy

Thanks! I made the synth sound using massive and added a delay (I think its called Tape Delay or something in Logic X) and modulated the time of the delay and it created the wavy chorus effect!

I gotchu! I'm currently in the process of editing the tutorial! It's follows me making the entire song from scratch! It's a long one though, its 55 minutes long and thats with making edits! BUT I think that it's going to be very helpful for people and they can make the track with me because I have all of the samples available for download!

I'm all about making a sample library! Lately I've been providing download links in the descriptions of all of my PO-33 videos of the samples that I created for the songs, but a large sample library would be a lot of fun!

Yup!!! It was a real pain to sequence and organize so that I only have 4 samples playing back at a time but I managed to get it to work! I am releasing an Tutorial for the track very soon! It follows me making the track from scratch! It's 55 minutes long and thats after editing it down! haha

I think the occasional tutorial is just fine and a lot of interest to viewers with the exact same hardware. 👍 I will add, I really do enjoy the most these videos with just the music and no requirement for me to think about the encoding and such. 😂😂😂

Hi, have you got any hint to record a bass sample with a good volume without having it distorted? I have a great bass sample, it doesn't clip when I record it in po-33,but when I play it, it is really bad, I have to apply heavily a low pass filter thus losing a lot of body is sound

Hello! I try to cut out any unnecessary bass frequencies below 50 Hz but even keeping the sample from clipping, I always experience hiss so I also roll the high end off with the low pass filter and I make sure that there is no resonance.
