Those stairs look awesome! You're getting good with those carpentry skills! 👍 As for Merlin, I might have to take him off your hands for your own good, you know. 😊

Not having the ability to haul stuff home would probably save me quite a bit of headache haha.

Perfect timing, ive got to cobble up some stairs for a mechanics pit some time real soon, might use a router to seat the treads cos ive already thrown enough money at the steel in this project 😅👍 Cheers D

Hopefully it helps you along some. The routering in the treads isn’t a bad idea to give it some sort of ledge. Steel does add up quick, that’s why the stringers in mine ended up being wood haha.

HAHA I was saying umm need a railing there, Now you need to clear out the back woods and build a few car ports
@LostCauseRanchАй бұрын
Yeah I definitely don’t trust myself that much haha. Maybe like one of those long apartment style car ports for like 48 of them.

Are you finally going up to the Trans Wisconsin Adventure Trail and if so when are we going !!!!

I see that series rover there, I'm looking at one or two, would you pay over $8k for a rough but running one?
@mybrilliantlife9476Ай бұрын
And that stair job was very useful, I'll hang onto my huge lengths of L bracket
@LostCauseRanchАй бұрын
That is hard to say without seeing them, as it can get pretty pricey if you need to start replacing the chassis and bulkhead or various stuff that goes along those lines if it is rusty. Unless you enjoy the process and work it can sometimes be more economical to buy a nice one.

how painful to hear you saying "3 and a quarter sixteenths" or some other funny words. Metric wins everytime!
@LostCauseRanchАй бұрын
Haha. Ridiculous isn’t it? How I wish we were just on the metric system. 12 inches in a foot. 3 feet in a yard. 5280 feet in a mile. Then add fractions into that mess.
