I work at a dispensary in Colorado that’s only rec side but I still know quite about the medical side. I find it so interesting they give you a prescription amount in Florida . In Colorado it’s just here’s your card never have to see a doctor again

They give you such an amount you will never realistically go over. They do make you see your doctor every 270 days though and its usually just done over Zoom or similar conference call.

Yes but you have the factor of Denver being an ultra liberal all blue all in Covid town. I was just there and it was miserable. I could not nourish myself or get my basic human needs met easily. Buying the Pot was a a NIGHTMARE, prices up, no sniffing, people being mean and nasty brown shirts, some places making you order or call ahead. I ended up near suicidal! Plus I couldn't breathe properly with the fires plus the altitude. So everything has a price. Florida and Oklahoma have been back to near normal for months.

Records are not required to get approved for a card. PTSD, anxiety, insomnia will almost guarantee your approval.

Due in large part to showing up shortly after a good friend of mine got in wreck while in pursuit. I got to watch him trapped in the car and completely burn up. Secondly I witnessed a 12 year old girl blow her chest out with a shotgun after changing her mind about killing herself. It was too late with her toe on the trigger. Other than limited counseling there were no diagnoses made. We'll see.

When I literally can get my weed at a fraction and I mean a fraction of the cost of weed clinics and dispensaries I just want to say thank God for the small local dealers because so many people would lose this medicine if it was only available thru the current legal weed system we see now........ In Florida the prices are jawdropping from the clinics to the dispensaries or in many cases simply just too expensive for most to afford and most that need this medicine are low income!!! I don't disagree with you, but as for "why I would ever pay...." is because some people just do things the legal way, even if they don't agree with it. Personally, I don't want to risk the penalties by not doing it the legal way. Also, you do have a much better understanding of the quality of the THC. As long as you meet the criteria and bring everything with you to the doctor, you are essentially approved right there. You just have to go home and pay the fee and upload some stuff and that takes about 7-10 business days. They then email you a piece of paper to use as your card until your physical card arrives in the mail. So I’d say about 2-3 weeks from the doctors, visit if you go home and get everything done right away, until you can purchase weed from a dispensary.

It will depend on the employer and the type of work. In some cases the employer may even allow you to medicate while on the job. It is important to be aware of the law though. It cannot be used inside of the building (Clean Air Act) and you are prohibited from using in public (this particularly applied to smokable forms and high thc vapors). The rules are changing quite regularly so you have to pay attention. It is best to transport it in the trunk of the car to avoid possibly being charged with a dui as it is unlawful to operate while "impaired". The Office of Medical Marijuana Use maintains websites where you can find information.

I just got Florida license. I am from nc and have have been to a few docs about depression and taken meds but stopped also have titanium plate in head so have pain from that. Will I qualify?

So i'm 17 and struggle with depression and anxiety and I have a fast metabolism. I don't smoke weed occasionally but when i do, i get the munchies and eat way more then usual and it has been helping. it helps with the anxiety and depression to. If my mom was set up to be the caregiver, do you think i could get mine? im in Sarasota Fl so idk if that would be ok or not

do you need to be diagnosed in order to get a med card? i currently have 2 therapists who have said that i have mdd, gad, and ptsd but i am not diagnosed by a psychiatrist because my mom is very against medication like antidepressants. but i am 18 in less than a week and i plan on making an appointment to get my medical card. just wondering if i need to be diagnosed beforehand

I was told that you do have to but some of the people in the comments said they medical MJ doctor was able to do it. In my area, they would not. I recommend calling the medical MJ doctor in your area that you want to go to and ask because they may be able to.

it varies per state, where i live, you are able to own a gun regardless of your medical marijuana card.

I believe you lose the ability to conceal carry, but no one said anything to me and it isn’t like I had to turn my guns in.

@@BromlowFamily you legally lose the ability to buy new firearms, conceal carry permits and regardless of state issued “medical cards” federally it’s considered illegal to be A owner of firearms and have any cannabis in your possession. either on your person in ur vehicle or on your property. Idk what is considered "low THC" but most of the flower I get is 18-26% and vapes, etc are 82%+. I prefer my no state income tax in Florida.
