hi Howard. Christmas was, well, ugh...I was sick. Went to a friends wedding the night before and being out in the cold air kicked my butt. But, even though I spent it in bed, I got to spend it with my dogs, all 30 of them (yes 30, I have a second life home for abused and abandoned dogs), and that is all that matters. Life is not about the company you keep, as long as the company is true. I'm so happy you had a merry one my friend. As for why I'm single, it's a personal choice, behind which there is a story but not for here. I'll only say that, maybe one day I'll let love back in, but for now, my heart is safer being single. I will certainly be trying some of your recipes my friend and I'll let you know how awful I did and how miserable I failed...I'm a really bad cook. I can burn water...lol. As a personal note...suggestion...opinion...thing, Adam and Bernardo, I think you guys need to get Howard here to cater the wedding...SERIOUSLY!!! Love to all.

Another thing jumped out at me when I re-watched this video is: A & B playing in the snow captures perfectly what so many love about this couple and this relationship. We are observers of two little kids who are having a great time playing in the snow with their best friend! Never let go of this. Many things can change in a relationship, but laughing and having fun with your best friend should always a central part of a good relationship. After 17 years my husband and I are very different people, but the one constant in our life is we are still having great fun, laughing and playing with our best friend.

I grew up in a world where I became a criminal merely because of who I fell in love with. first of all, CONGRATULATIONS to you both...very emotional video...Finally, I recall being told that the engagement band for men was on the right, final matrimony band on the left...the women's rings usually come in sets...engagement ring, which is smaller and then the final matrimony band, the larger and more expensive of the two and both is worn on the the woman's left hand...something symbolic or aesthetic when holding hands since the couple would hold opposing hands, I'm not totally sure and I could definitely be wrong...but if I were engaged to my boyfriend, I would probably have each of us wear our engagement rings on the right hands, matrimonial rings on the left...but that's only what I would prefer...
