The 90s was a terrible decade for music
@Grendelmonster8uАй бұрын
@@RandallMulherin The mid-80s to mid-90s had great dance music. Unlike today, the rapping was clean and had singable/danceable music. Just like with disco, every decade has its lame music that’s dated. I think we’re remembering the best of the rest. I don’t know what’s good dance music today-maybe a few gems-but much is heavy bass, terrible lyrics and not very creative or too poppy. Half of MTV (1982) was crappy, synthesizer overload* and dated, but not the dance music. There were some good rock bands and pop in the 90s. It seems to me that pop in the 2000s sounds the same. What’s the point in complaining? I went back to the 60s and 70s funk/soul danceable songs. I’ve got plenty of that and classic rock. Kids will like what they will while I ruin the stats by not watching the whole video. My 30 second rule: If it doesn’t grab you in the first 30 seconds, move on. *Exception to synthesizer: Donna Summer’s “I Feel Love”. That was a groundbreaker.

It’s crazy how a song can take you back over 30 years and you remember driving a vw bug with song playing on the radio every few minutes

There was nothing better than dancing to this as a 27yo, and just letting the music take you over. How lucky were we to experience music like this in our teens or 20's?

At the time, I knew.

@CD-yr8tw there was so much good music to choose from as well. We were truly spoilt for choice.

This is one of those songs that I remember hearing often as kid. Never knew the artist or name of the song, but I always liked it. I came across it again as an adult and man the nostalgia is just overwhelming....its so quintessentially 90s. I wish I could go back in time, but as an adult. It had to be awesome compared to this current hellscape we are living in 😅

Очень харизматичный коллектив. Узнаваемый. Ритм фантастика.
My brain has never left 90's dimension, every time I hear timeless classics from the 90's I am transported back in time/home. 💞👌😊👍

Podoba mi się to nagranie, ponieważ ma ono w sobie wielu wstawek instrumentów muzycznych począwszy od perkusji po flet itd... brawo.

still such a great song and on most of my playlists, i especially associate it with summer. saw this group live yesterday and the crowd started singing the "ah ah aah" bit until they got back to sing some more! amazing feeling.

I graduated high school in 1992. Went to a party either end of 93 or beginning of 94. This song was playing when I walked up to the house. Most of my high school friends were there. It really was the last high school party. The last time that such a large number of us would be together. If I would have know that, I would have savored that moment, but when you are 19, you think you have more time. Still a great song for a bitter sweet memory.
