@bejamga True, but the band's first album was 1997, a fine year for British bands indeed, which makes them a 90's band still. And like many late 90's bands, they released albums during the 2000's.

As far back as I can remember I struggled! I struggled with things that most people take for granted in life, an example of this would be basic stability within my family home. I was born a victim of circumstance and or my environment,...a hopeless and lonely environment embroiled in drugs, alcohol, and violence. From the age of 5, I fell into the arms of the system, foster care, children's homes etc. At the age of 13-14 I found myself in a secure unit for children and adolescents, and this Steriophonics CD was the first ever CD I asked my therapist to get for me, and this song kept me going, and gave me hope for a very long time,...years! I am now 36 and still in the system after a severe mental breakdown,...it has been 22 years, and I am still listening to this hopeful song,...trying to find my way back home. I hope with all my heart, that one day I will make it to the place I call home, the place I have only ever dreamt of!

When I split from my sons mum and moved out, this was on repeat, this song was a solace. Gave me hope that maybe I would “find my way home” alas I never did, but it gave me a glimpse of hope.

In sad to heard that. But if you really watch the video, the strange looks Kelly receives, the weird lips of the backing singer, the almost sinister hallucinatory people at the taxi windows this is not a positive song. Well it depends how how you look at it. The lyrics suggest that home is not another place or another person but yourself.. "Wanna breathe with an open mind, wanna swim with in the ocean and take my time for me. Oh, me." The video also shows anytime he is with other ppl things descend into chaos or judgement ( the way the ppl interviewing look at him , disgusted and appalled near the end always intrigued me) But sorry I went on too long, " back home" is finding yourself and the self worth that automatically comes with it. He feels like he has lost his peace of mind. Home is where he can feel free and just be himself but notably, by himself. Only when you truly love yourself can you receive respectful reciprocated love from others that you deserve. Hope you're well 🌺 x

0:17 this dudes voice is radical. I never forgot about this song since I heard it as a kid in mom's car. My uncle had a burnt-out CD and this was one of the songs on it. I just remembered the lyrics "so maybe tomorrow, I'll find my way home." I searched that and found this song and I found my childhood again. I found my way home.

Having depression can make you feel you're completely alone in a crowded room. You might have a magnificent home, a great car, a respected job and the whole world to live for, but you still feel empty, desperate and hopeless nonetheless. The inner darkness sometimes feels impenetrable. You'd give anything to find the reset button to switch off the sadness and start feeling joy again, like everyone else seems to... There just aren't any quick fixes, though. For some, there may be no fix at all. Yet... No matter how dark it gets, stay focused on getting through today, however hard it is. For one day, there WILL be a cure. Maybe tomorrow...

I wish you good luck on your journey William S to push that dark cloud away. I am coming out to my blue skies after a very long fight to not drown and to understand the root cause. I also needed to find my inner light which for me is creative writing. We all have something we are good at, you just have to find it and block out the negative voices and shut them out of your life. Good luck and my prayers are with you. UK

Stereophonics have released ten studio albums, including six UK number one albums. Their latest album is Scream Above the Sounds (2017). A successful compilation album, Decade in the Sun, was released in November 2008 and charted at number two in the United Kingdom. Stereophonics not really underrated. Check the Urban Dance Squad or 24-7 Spyz or King's X for REALLY underrated bands that never got the recognition they deserved.

There is always tomorrow and I know we get consumed with anxiety and depression sometimes more days than usual BUT there is always tomorrow and there will be better things to come. The mind is your own worst enemy so think of other things and your mind will try and fight you but you will succeed in time and there is always time for a turnaround for the best, so don’t lose that chance think of the future. Be strong, you were born for a reason and that reason is to live out your time. x
