Stereotypical Ships, unique next gen /MLP Speededit/

Hello everyone! Today I want to show you how a next gen with steriotipical Ships can look like!
Everytime I see a next gen with the steriotipical ships we all know (Which aren't cannon exept for CheesePie!) I wonder why they all look the same or very similar. I asked a few and they told me that it's hard to create a pony without tracing a mane design or colours that already exist for other next gens and I get that but it's not impossible. Idk how many Velvet Sentry rip-ofs or CheesePie kids with Cheeses coat and pinkies mane with a bit of brown I've seen.. That's why I want to show how to create a next gen that isn't copied.
Ofc it could be that out there are some next gens that seem similar to mine but I tried to keep them original.
I'd like to add that creating children does not mean that they have to be a mixture out of both of their parentes colour palates or just their palets traced from their parents... the eye coulor could also be the mane colour or smth.

It's so true, I have seen many stereotypical ships where they all fall into the same hole of taking the parents genes and nothing else, when it doesn't have to be that way. Love your showverse ships, and love what you did here with the stereotypical ones, I'm glad that for once the flashlight kid isn't orange.

Well, they probably see what other people are doing and really like it, so they decide to make their own versions not necessarily wanting to copy on purpose, but kind of... I'm imagining a younger kid seeing next gens and being inspired to do their own, but I'm not sure how to describe that part in which they decide to use the ships everyone else is using but not quite in a copying way... I just can't find the words to describe what it would be like.

I really want to see more big mac, apple bloom, and apple jack kids have curly manes like pear butter. I also want to see more flat manes for pinkie's kids as well as freckles from dash since windy has them

Those designs are super pretty! To tell the truth, I never understood why they weren't more original designs, although I understand it. I designed my next gen before the ships. The first reason is because I wanted them to look somewhat original and the second because I don't know how to make ships TvT. Oh well... Btw The songs in the video are also very original. I haven't listened to them in a long time xD
