+Ray Klish effects arent always meant to cover flaws. I think the reverb gives his performances an interesting sound. especially when u take in account the kind of songs he does might sound a bit empty otherwise.

There's a lot of reverb, but I can see why he decided to put it, since without it the overall mix (being quite simple, since it's just voice + guitar as opposed to the bigger original arrangement) would sound thinner. Plus, it delivers a nice take on the chorus, as he's actually "staying away"... like, faaaar away. :D
