On no… 8 out of their last 47 cornerstone and studio games have been marvel properties since 2007 when they started the partnership, that’s just wayyyyyy too much. Meanwhile, there are 11 band pins and that’s perfectly fine.

Saw reveal video leak for Jaws. I saw Jaws when it came out when I was four. Really let down by this. Definitely big pass on an LE and NIB premium. Will wait to try it before I consider buying one used. I don’t see stern selling out on LE’s. Game looks fun but no way in hell $13k of fun. They need to drop prices back.

It does speak to me, but most importantly, it speaks to my wife. Jaws is one of her favorite movies. A "leaked" trailer shows it using real assets. An Elwin game, too? This may be the ammunition I need to get her on board.

I think it's an age thing. I saw Jaws in the theater when I was 10 years old 1977, such great one-liners in that movie, it's a classic really looking forward to the theme and people in my age group have a little extra cash and more likely to buy this. Now I just got to convince the wife to let her let me put one next to Godzilla, because I think from the rumors this might dethrown Godzilla

OK, I'm in my mid-50s. Godzilla was a GREAT theme for me. Ultraman is a great theme for me. Venom? Could care less. Jaws - Oh yeah, great theme....let's see the execution of said theme.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back to playing pinball... The theme is interesting and if they don't screw up the Pro version, I think it might be popular. Interesting that JJP are having trouble selling Elton John. I would imagine the price is the main problem, as the machine is clearly a work of art, but maybe EJ isn't the best artist for a music themed pinball machine.

We are going to need a bigger game room! Ok the theme isn't the ultimate in themes for me but i did grow up with that movie scaring the crap out of me so it holds a small interest. Very similar to Godzilla. I remember being excited the next pin would be Godzilla so I didn't have to buy it. Next thing I knew we bought a premium lol. KE is KE and right now that is gold. I hope it stays that way and I want to buy a premium of this. Stern if you read this you can send that premium Venom for review to..... 😂

Does it interest me? Sure, I like all pinball as long as it's good pinball. That typically excludes JJP, but I have hopes in EJ. I think Jaws has real potential and as many have stated in Elwin's hands it could be great.

The theme doesn’t move a needle for me! It’s gonna be interesting to see 2024 games rollout, like you said, it will be a sign of how healthy this hobby is. I agree with everything you said, that’s my sentiment also. Let’s see what Elwin does…with no assets again just like JP built on a Spike 2 system.

Jesus, thank you. I couldn't give 2 Fs about a tired theme like Jaws. I guess the licensing price was right. Honestly my opinion is Stern has done more to F up pinball prices than anything else. I would buy a decent pin for $1500-$2k, do a FULL resto including new PF , ramps, plastics, etc and sell for $5k. Now you can buy a beat up player level for $5k. Or a new stripped down Pro title for $8k+ Ludicrous.

AiQ is my favorite elwin machine, never had more fun shooting a game in my life. There is so many good shots i fucking love AiQ, the callouts are a bit cheesy but the soundtrack is killer and its one of best uses of a shaker motor ever in a pin ever. And the wizard modes and the code is insane, people cry its to deep. People also cry i'm two balls deep in there mom but mommy love it. OH YES DADDY GIVE ME THE DEEP HARD CODE GIVE IT TO ME DADDY!

I'm not into the Jaws theme even though I like the movie. I wasn't into GZ either and I have one of those. It just comes down to gameplay just like GZ did. GZ was such an awesome game I had to have it and have not been disappointed. If the gameplay is there I think Jaws will be a hit and Stern cashes in. Since its Elwin I think that's a good bet but I'm sitting on the sidelines right now.

I'm with you on not feeling this theme. To each his own, and I can certainly see the appeal, but just like a few of the past, it needs to be played. I can say it doesn't 'look' like an Elwin design. We shall see!

Im not excited for this theme either. Just excited for another game by Team Elwin. I think that the content creators are pushing the narrative that people are excited for themes like Jaws, Top Gun, Princess Bride, and John Wick. When I think it’s them, who really want it.

I feel like the 3 models need to go . Just go back to one model with it all . I get it but it creates to much aggravation having to set the awesome on the shelf because you can’t afford that one. Get the price right and put one game out with a collectors for the collector . Either version should be like a studio release so every model gives you the full boat . Jaws is a great movie, but a crappy pinball theme. What makes it a good film is the suspense, waiting for something to happen, nothing happening, then it strikes when you've let your guard down. It's not an action packed adventure that lends to the kinetic satisfaction of pinball.

Boring theme. No one is into the IP. It is a boring movie by today's standards. Roy Schneider and Richard Dryfuss are not bankable in 2023. I have played James Bond and am hard pressed to recall anything interesting being done with the movie scenes..

When I first heard that Elwins next game was Jaws, I was pissed. What a crappy, did not age well movie theme. It is not comparable to Godzilla, which is universally cool even if you are not a fan of the corky movies. Godzilla is coming..... run! A shark..... Don`t go in the water, and the shark is as dangerous as a goldfish. I wish this theme was given to someone else when it was assigned. (I am 99,99% sure the game will be excellent). I hope that Elwin has made a great Pro model as well, like he did with his previous machines. Cheers from Norway!
