If hes cycling and not using crazy doses those should all fall back to normal range in no time. Hell some pros have been "on cycle" for 10+ years taking only a few weeks of a lower dose here and there. The liver is the most resilient organ in the body. Now dont get me wrong you can overdo iy and bad life habbits combined witj steroid use will exponentially augment your risks of permanent/severe problems. Alcohol abuse drug abuse lack of sleep poor diet smoking will all make any of these problems much worse. Everyone talks about how oral steroids are hard on the liver but one night of binge drinking does worse than an oral cycle. Not to mention alcohol abuse will screw your natural hormone production extensively.

Left ventricular internal diameter, wall thickness, and left ventricular mass were all larger in the athletes." All athletes have thicker heart wall. It's a result of the required blood pressure for the muscles (wich is larger than a non-athlete) to work properly under heavy load. Anabolic androgenic steriods affect skeletal muscle gene expression, not the heart scince it's a cardiac muscle. It's easy to sit here and write comments about his health when you know nothing about the science behind it. Of course AAS can damage your body, but that's highly depending on doses and types of steriods (some are worse than others obviously). The only thing they say with this test is "yeah you have athletes heart, cause you're an athlete" so nothing is wrong with your heart. They should have analyzed his blood also, that would tell much more about his overall health (HPTA bloodwork, red blood cell count, cholesterol, AST, ALT).
@oliverwright79326 жыл бұрын
1) He is currently healthy but is in the "at risk" demongraphic and the doctor even states that continued use will have a negative affect on him, remember he is young and hasn't been training for all that long. 2) Whoever said doctors are useless is a complete and utter moron, no more shall be said about that 3) The whole "they didn't do tests prior, so these aren't valid results" is a stupid argument, you don't need prior tests to determine if someone is healthy or unhealthy, but you need them to show how your health is changing, which wasn't the purpose of this experiment. The doctor even states that in the future their may be complications, if tested again, then they would be able to determine if this is the case.

I've actually been told by a doctor while I was abroad that testosterone in low doses it's actually beneficial for older men. Your likely to have more problems with low testosterone than you are having optimal testosterone. Also has a massive impact on depression. Fixes depression without all the sides of anti depressants that a doc wouldn't think twice about prescribing you. When your 80 your virtually crippled. I wonder if that's because you've virtually no testosterone 🤔 🤔. No muscle, weak bones and a sun dried prune for a cock. Taking testosterone can be beneficial if you are hypogonadel. But you can't really talk about optimal testosterone levels since it depends on the individual. Some people can have low test but be very test sensitive and thus be fine. For example if you look at the test levels of the olympians they where all over the chart and i actually think the average between them where even lower than the general average. Taking TRT is however not going to help you live longer since testosterone have some adverse health effects, but it might help you live better. Also taking low doses of test is probably less dangerous than drinking and for sure less dangerous than smoking.

I,m 67, all l do, just for my health is: DIPS/PULLUPS/PISTOLS, 10 sets of each (5 bodyweight and 5 weighted) 10 - 20 reps each set, 4 times a week. (also a load of CALFS after breakfast) Each workout done nonstop...no rest between sets. With a view to keeping my cardio vascular system in good order, as the number 1 goal. Any increase in size at my age is a little bonus, not a priority. When your old, your HEALTH, not building the worlds biggest biceps is your NUMBER 1 PRIORITY. Even doing this workout for years... has taken its toll on my shoulders, elbows, and knees....not enough to make me quit....but you certainly feel it now and then. You don,t realise how shallow some of this is till you age....then you realise people don,t care how big you are. Young people want to swan around posing themselves of. I have never been a bodybuilder as such. I prefer to call my self a keep fitter. But as a layman, l think bodybuilding today is dreadful, compared to when Frank zane ruled in the 70s. These young people are going to regret taking this crap as they age.....they will then realise, to late that HEALTH is your most valuable asset....without which NOTHING MATTERS.
