Micic arguably had the most impressive 57kg run at a world championships in history.. amazing accomplishment to beat Abdullaev, Uguev (2x WC, Olympic Champion), Akbarov (1x WC), Higuchi (1x WC, Olympic Silver Medalist). Has proven his world class status, I hope he medals in Paris.

Cayden’s interviewing skills are really getting good. A serious career in sports media is an absolutely a possible path you man, probably a backup path albeit, but still a possibility! You’re the man. I predict a lot of huge interviews this year. Dake, Taylor, Burroughs, all in person. I’m calling it.

Dude is a great podcast guest. Obviously, loves to talk and, more importantly, has things to say. Another winner!

I’m glad Micic’s run at 141 was addressed and we got to hear him reflect about it. I’m sure there’s a lot more to the story but so much respect to him for fighting through that

The first style I learned was Greco, started at a club in Wisconsin called Ringers. Practice was near the university of Marquette. Doubt it still exists!

Ringers was still a Midwest powerhouse in the early 2010s wrestled a few hammers from there in freestyle and Greco by the name of beau breske and Brandon Fleischmann

@dlinkhorst9 ай бұрын
@@slater4108I think Spencer is far and away the most talented but what Micic says about being battled tested is what’s gonna be the difference. He’s going to have a lot of close tough matches at the Trials and I’m not sure his body can hold up. I hope so though bc I strongly believe he is our best representative at 57.
